I wish there are Russian military ballistic helmets in this game.

After reviewing all the available ballistic helmets which is just one with three different colours, I am quite disappointed. To make matters worse, it resembles the American MICH Ballistic Tactical Combat Helmet. Sometimes I wonder why there are so many American stuff in this game. This is Chernarus of Russia, not Boreal forest of America.

I would very much like to see a MVD helmet which are used by Russian internal and FSB troops:

I do think these should be implemented, I think it'd create another use for the press vest. Because currently it just stops bullets and that's its only use, of course by "only use" I mean visually.

You do have to be careful implementing riot shields, it can cause a lot of glitches. Plus, are we going to be able to fire our .22LRs or 556bullets with our m4s whilst under the safety of the riot shield.

The thing is they'd need to seriously take Into consideration the fact that everything gets ruined after getting shot at, if a RIOT SHEILD gets ruined after.

Also I'd like to see reduced accuracy when firing with a riot SHEILD in hand

I do not want this item in the game. However I presume with vehicles being added, we will at some point be treated to the acetylene torch and a welding mask...

That's a K6-3 helmet used by the Russian MVD for internal affairs and internal anti-terrorism. It's by far the coolest looking helmet on the planet.

 

It is, also the same helmet the Russian Support class uses in Battlefield 3...

 

Now I don't see what the MVD would be doing in another country (Chernarus) but I guess in an apocalypse, anything can happen. I would LOVE to see this helmet in the game.

How about the 6B7-1M? Imo it should come with a cover just like in the below pic.  This should be the most common helmet seen in Chernarus!

 

 

 

Maybe even add the 7.62x51mm defeating NS-600 NIJ III (not nij IIIa) as a super rare spawn.

I really like this helmet , I wanna see riot like gear In large cities on the outskirts of chernarus , like svetlogorsk or Zelenogorsk , seeing as they are on the edge of the map ... (I only say this cuz I don't think there are riot squads in such a country-area like chernarus presents itself to be, but I love riot styled gear and would Like to see it in game .)

Although i would agree with this being added, the CDF was equipped with PASGT (MICH's predecessor), so it probably would be the "Most common helmet" in Chernarus.

But the Earlier days of the CDF, and before that, the Soviet Army, almost defiantly used SSh-40 and 68 Helmets. I personally think the Ssh-40 is a much better-looking helmet (WWII-era) and would be just as common, if not more so, than the later SSh-68. They were also used all the way through to the Russian Federation.
