"New players" reaction to this patch is just like..

Zombies this patch are no big deal to me.

 

I'm always more than one step ahead of them.

 

It actually makes it more fun.

 

More of them? It's all right, let them come, just the system is freaking retarded.

 

What I miss more is having only 3 guns in the game and not knowing shit about anything, the Mosin Nagant, the M4, and the FNX45, no more complications. 

 

Now it's a glitchy fucking mess.

Do you mean you were laughing AT this post or with it? Because if you thought, and it sounds like you do, that I was being elitist then allow me to retort. I was not. I do not care if you have never even played and just comment here. I am not elite. I do not want to be elite, nor do I ever wish to come across as elite. I will however try to be funny quite often.. and sometimes, I will fail miserably. Other times I may succeed.  :)

Debatable. New or old, everyone is different; pleasing the entire community is impossible. None the less, if they really are new, they will find it much harder to handle, especially if they do not know the controls, how the game works, where to go, etc.

I dont think its debatable, to try to compare the experience that someone who has done something for a long period of time over someone who is trying it for the first few times.. I mean the only reason to argue that is because you are upset. Its not like you can convince people that experience is NOT tantamount in a person's reactions to change. Now, with that said this whole old vs new debate is really, really a waste of everyones time. Stop. 

 

Old players are old players, new ones are new. Each bring their own bag of ups and downs. An old player can have experience and piss it away, and a new player can have a fresh perspective but waste it on raging.. it really does not matter who is who or how long they have booted a PC game. 

 

What does matter is how people react to this early release alpha, and how they react to each other in this forum. Can you imagine if this was a bar, and not an anonymous forum? How many of you would have already been stabbed or shot to death by now? How many would have killed someone or assaulted someone simply over their opinion and how they responded to yours? 

 

See, if this was face to face IRL.. 99% of you would act much more mature and reasonable to each other. So lets just go ahead and pretend we know each other in here, and are all sitting down at a table together.. if we can do that, then maybe our conversations wont sound so fucking immature and argumentative. Maybe..

They should just make it as unforgiving and realistic as possible.

 

Make the gunplay and ballistics as true to life as possible and those new players will adapt .

I agree with OP a bit. I see the respawning zombies as a brilliant step forward towards SA catching up with the mod. I don't care that they run through walls, or that they spawn in the open....because....well....its alpha. This is still progress in the right direction.

 

If you played the mod you got conditioned to buggy patches lol. Also to bugs that just wouldn't go away...aka, lovely texture bug thing with wire fences so they were useless at campsites haha :)
