2D all the way!

Performance, unrealistic glare, FOV exploit all show that 3D scopes (at least in Dayz) are not the way to go

Don't worry, once its moddable a single neckbeard in his basement will produce more content in a week than the entire dev team does in a month.

That wasn't the implication

Question now would be what if 3d scores aren't fixable what if they keep trying and are still stuck with bad zoom levels. Would you then want 2d scopes that have the proper zoom levels and features like illumination?

OP is just bad at the game so want recoil and scope sway removed.

Hmmmmm how did you come to that conclusion?

No mention of either of those things anywhere from me.

What I want is scopes that work with the proper magnification and look good.

No, and TMR scopes in arma 3 are crappy imo

How so they are far more useable than the 3d scopes.

You can use them at their intended ranges meanwhile the 3d scopes are pretty much all only useable at close range.

Even the Ballistic Drop chevrons are useable with the 2d scopes .

snip

Yea red orchestra 2 has it too not a good solution imo since it cuts frame rate nearly in half.

2d scopes have no performance loss and can represent a more realistic if done right perspective of what it actually is when looking down glass.
