You know you're playing the wrong game if your group sometimes ends up being taking almost a third of the server's slots for pvp... Not questioning the skill, but other shooters give you more pleasure if the other 26,6(6....67) DayZ players that don't group up don't put up the fight you expect them to. Although to make you happy, I hope someday you'll have your private server for this, can't judge your play style.

Oh look its that guy again and he's complaining about private servers again.  Opening with a troll/flame bait isn't helping your situation, although I'm glad you and your friend's are having such fun I am of the opinion that they are imaginary.

 

I will try to make this point one more time as it appears to have gone over your head last time.

 

We are playing an alpha with the purpose of testing in game mechanics, finding glitches, bugs and exploits.

 

Private servers are not going to be available until probably after Beta launches at earliest guess.  If they wanted private servers they would implement then now they already have the ability to do so.

 

What exactly would you do on a private server, run about get all the guns and then what? I guess it would be screenshots of your awesome character and boasting about how long he's been alive, its fairly easy if no-one's trying to kill you.  You wouldn't be able to make a youtube channel on it cos no-one wants to see a fello run about and kill zombies.  You wouldn't be able to then move onto a public server cos you'd be connected to a different hive so gear wouldn't come with you so there's no point in that.

 

What would be the point in playing?

you can post as many funny pics as you want to, but this men is just right and it sucks hard, even harder with all these hackers and bugusers and dont come with the "alpha" thing. Nothing changed since months and i cant see anything coming since they already have our 24 euros, didnt thought this would happen but i can see it coming, that game will die if the devs keep going that way. I can totally understand dean to quit by the end of the year. My promise: nothing will have changed till then and he knows it. Seriously i hope i'm wrong tough.

The irony is that they will have to be contained to their own server, in which no one will play because 15 out of 50 people running around in a deathsquad is not going to be healthy for server population!

 

I dont even get how thats fun, 15 guns running around and roflolstomping groups of 1-5? Give me a break, how pathetic must the guy be in real life? Best part, by his own criteria he wont be able to go to other servers to get gear to go to other servers because they will be on private hives!

Well it's keeps them away from people who actually want to play the game, maybe they will invent a new type of game...ZDM 15 Chernarus or so. We were in a group of about the same size a long time ago...it really got boring but when we played we always tried to stick together ( numbers means safety but numbers also means a bigger target ) at least you have a ton of eyes watching the area and retaliation is swift when beeing attacked and you are sure to survive because you always have people running to you and give you medical treatment. Wen had this one event where we looted Stary in the middle of the night and went north to venture the wilderness with the whole group, someone distributed chemsticks so we could see eachother in the dark ( of course others could see us as well ). So when we were otw uphill and everyone had his mark and i went ahead to be in the  vanguard a shot cut through the silent of the night and i fell down unconsious but i regained consiousness quickly and tried to bandage myself. The only thing i heard then was "drop chemsticks, extinguish them"...in an instant the lights were off and weapon flashlights were turned on and pointed directly at the shooter, i bet he didn't expect that many players he must have seen only me going up there...he didn't survive. He was geared like every other KoSer back then btw...those guys always brought us the best gear like NVGs, super rifles like M107/AS50/L85AWS, GPS etc. ) We even had idiots taking the risk of attacking us with tons of weapons in their backpacks only because they couldn't stop the urge to shoot us instead of listening to logic and avoid a fight although they saw us first.

Let me explain.

Imagine you are playing DayZ. You look out for zombies! And ofcourse the bandits (much scare)

And BOOM! YOU FINALLY FOUND LOOT OMFG!

But oh NO! Someone is shooting at you! OMFG!@!@!@!

That's normal DayZ, it's awesome because you don't know who is nice, who is not and the fear of zombies eating your ass..

 

A private server, can have the same things that you would have with normal dayz, except 1 thing.

A Private server, would mean the players in it, are the ones you know. You know they don't hack, you don't have to get annoyed at server hopping looters.

 

But because you are incapable (because of your drug habbit like you said) to understand, that a private server would NOT be linked to the publics.

 

So this would mean, no server hoppers, no hackers, people you know and share a certain playstyle with.

 

You can be an idiot and claim it's because of loot farming or any other invalid reason (because idiot fanboys gonna fanboy)

But we want to play without unknown idiots, without hackers, without server hoppers and ofcourse the abillity to actually be an admin on your bought/rented server.

If I want to play 5vs5 survival or 20vs20 or ffa survival, with a private server you have the abillity.
