Global Ban for ArmA 2 going to DayZ and ArmA 3?

Recommended Posts

I actually noticed this issue when I went to play on my Alis Life server, I was Global banned... And in the recent days before that, A number of my community members were randomly banned via Battleye.. I know these were unfair to them(and me..) because they had been playing on both our Altis Life and our Takistan Life serve quite commonly for a few months... They all managed to get their accounts back no worries.. That is not the case for me however.. I Emailed Battleye and explained to them my issue, They said 'No you are banned on another game that has BE on it', That game being ArmA 2, as my CD Key was stolen via a RAT that I had managed to get(No, not a Keystealer, a RAT), Since Battleye had no documentation on this at all, I was expecting them to say 'Okay, Sorry about this, Have fun playing BIS games', But, They basically told me to fuck myself, they dont give a shit.. They said my Only option was to get a new copy of the game, which I would do, But I am just some poor ass from New Zealand, so I am not going to get far on that path..

I would just like to know if anyone has had any remedies I could try? Like people to contact to get my games re-enabled(Legally of course)? And has anyone else suffered this issue?

No such thing as "random" BE-bans and considering you have been banned before you quite frankly have a past, which is why you shouldn't expect mercy.

Especially not around here, where it's quite a touchy subject - and noone can do anything about it anyway.

RAT is probably the second most common excuse for using scripts. The most common one is "I was just trying to pirate COD" I have no idea why people use these excuses for BE bans, because they're completely nonsensical. Why can't you just admit you're a cheating bastard?

Probably because I was one of the main Developers for one of the largest ArmA server network out? And I would have what time to skid? And no, I do no Pirate games and get RATs, maybe if you were not to be such an ignorant idiot, you would see that 8/10 peoples computers are infected with some kind of shit and I am one of them.. I had the unfortunate privilege of talking to the guy who infected me, and removed all my steam games, stole my steam account and all my PayPal money.. So why dont you go shove it and stop being a nonsensical  shit and say something productive or nice, or shut up and leave? Cheers

Show us a copy of your police report that you had money stolen from your bank account through pay pal.     If you dont show us that, you must be lying.

If you were a Dev you should have known better than getting yourself infected.

A Global Ban is issued by a third party Anti-Cheat Software Engine. No one associated with DayZ can overturn a global ban nor can we appeal such a thing on your behalf.

You must contact BattlEye Support if you think you're ban is a false positive. If you know that you have cheated, then stop reading and refrain from bothering BattlEye. They won't help in this case and all your excuses are long time known. http://battleye.com/support.html

Also ArmA 2 uses a different non-Steam dependent system to determine your GUID. For ArmA 3 and DayZ the GUID is based on your Steam Profile ID. Thus an ArmA 2 ban cannot carry over to ArmA 3 or DayZ. Bans are only shared between DayZ and ArmA 3.
