What do you do once you're fully geared?

Option #1 for me.

There's a whole bunch of new places to see once you have a pack full of beans and bullets.

I have never understood why people live can to can... it all goes to the same place amd burnt at the same rate, eat the damn beans already!

For me and my group of 7 people, DayZ only got two options:

1. Spawn and run straight to an Airport to gear up, then run back to Electro and kill everything that moves around.

2. Run straight to Electro, get yourself a weapon, group up and kill everything that moves around.

The last option is normally the fastest way to get gear, its just bullshit when people say that its no point killing for gear, because everything will be ruined? Well then you are doing something wrong.
If you are smart you don't spray down you`re target with a M4, a simply Headshot will just ruin the headslots. In most cases you just need their ammo and weapons anyway, and that cant be ruined anyway.

After 300-400 hours in game time, you have explored enough - The only fun part thats left is to gear up, help fresh spawns and kill fully geared ones. Electro is a fun place to be, even tho` its 40 people on the server, you can easily take control of the town with 6-7 players, just spread out, the most important thing is that everyone should be able to cover up each other, its a tactical game.

And remember, most people panic when you run them up only with a fire Axe ;)

Go exploring and go on adventures mostly. That would mean go from point A to B, from B to C, and visiting towns on the way to refill supplies.

Lately I've been hunting bambi killers.

I'm no hero. Any bambi I save will be shot if they don't do as I say, as in "don't loot that body until I'm gone" or "stay at least ten meters from me".

I wiped out two groups of 4+ KOSers the other day, alone. No, I'm no FPS god or super tactician; no, these guys were HORRIBLE.

They had shot around 11 bambis and each one took their whole group. They couldn't shoot for shit. I had watched them for a good 30 minutes to make sure I knew how many there were and their positons.

As soon as I shot at them, both groups, immediately scattered into positions that were easier for me to hit. They sometimes tried to flank me but always in the open.

It was sad that 1 person managed to take out 11 people in a few hours with only sustaining a few scratches.

Later that night a team of 3 really outplayed and killed me in Balota. I killed 1 of them with a lucky CQB mosin face shot, but I didn't really earn that kill as it was a panic click when they turned the corner on me.

3. Focus on helping others.. As a medic or guide or bandit hunter. Why would anyone provide medical assistance? That's dumb since it's too easy for any noob to make rags or find medkits anyway.

95% of people aren't friendly? I tried this already when I first started playing the mod when it came out. I also tried it when the SA first came out. I usually just stick to myself or my squad. I've even tried helping fresh spawns and they just try to knock me out.

I think Silverman has the wrong idea of KoS. It isn't something you just DO... It's something you play with... Toy with, in a game of cat and mouse... It isn't about the kill. When I do KoS, it's about the hunt.
