Post what you mainly use in DayZ for day-to-day combat and lookin' fly.

 

Here is my loadout:

 

Primary- Mosin (For long range engagements, I prefer it with a LRS)

Secondaries- Magnum (Will change to the M1911 when it comes to stable) and a Sawn Off

Hat - Beret / Camouflage Cap

Vest - Press Vest

Shirt / Jacket - Orange Raincoat (Will change to the Rider's Jacket / Leather Jacket when it comes to stable)

Bag - Improvised Backpack

Primary- SKS w/PU but i'm leaning towards just using a sawn off for my primary.

Secondary -  Magnum & Sawn off but if i loose the sks then just the magnum. May pick up the CZ or 1911 to see if i like a second secondary.

Zombie/out of luck gun - Amphibia S (MK2)

Melee - Gotta be a fire axe.

Hat - Black Cowboy Hat

Shirt - Tactical Shirt, preferably black/Leather Jacket

Pants - Black/green cargoes.

Vest - Holster

 

Any that aren't stable will be used when they go stable.

2 spare batteries

1 LRS (pristine, in protective case) I will occasionally find the need of a Mosin

1 gas canister and lamp (why I don't know, never used it but once on a night server)

1 pickup truck to haul all this garbage around in

 

Stable branch is worse, I'm carrying two sets of clothing, Camo and Black.

I usually keep the Splitting Axe inside my backpack to conceal it, and the rest of the slots are filled with canned goods, soda, water bottles, and canteens. I also carry a sewing kit, a bandage in 2 different articles of clothing (in case one gets ruined), and a splint or morphine auto-injector, and of course something to open the canned goods with. Also, my Helmet/Hoodie/Gloves/Pants/Shoes HAVE to match, I REFUSE to wear clothes that don't match in public. Ugh.

Just as I guessed, "majority" of people either play with the mosin or the m4. Many settle for less, when you do not have either of those.

(I'm not a big fan of the M4 and the Mosin is good but the LRS Scope is hard to find)

 

Secondary - Magnum

(I love the Magnum.)

 

Hat - Black Cowboy Hat -or- Black baseball cap

(Aviators thrown in. Helmets look too Bandity)

 

Vest - UK Assault Vest

(Easy to find. I've yet to find a Press Vest or anything else in  such abundance)

Mask:  Respirator

Top:  TTskO (Until I find a leather jacket)

Chest:  Camo Tac Vest (Until I find Press Vest)

Legs:  TTskO (Until I find Leather Jacket, then will be black cargo/Hunter pants)

Feet:  Jungle Boots, Green (Until Leather Jacket, then Black)

Bag:  Hunter Bag

 

Melee: Fire Axe (Haven't played since paintable.  (Will be black once I switch to leather jacket)

Primary:  LRS/Bipod Camo Mosin (Will change once better weapon with moderate zoom comes out.  Maybe Xbow?)

Secondary:  FNX45 (Currently with Flashlight and either RDS or Suppressor.  Missing one or the other.)

 

Hardcore is generally same as the top one, but with a secondary of the sawed-off shotgun and a primary of the Blaze.
