    Ridiculous rain effects?

Same - I don't wear the waterproof stuff and never have any trouble with rain as long as I am moving. Every now and then I will get the shaky scope from being wet/cold for a long period and I just light several fires in a house and correct it before moving on. Rain isn't a big deal.

    Status Report - 09 Sept

Will likely have nothing to do with the infection as it has been stated many times the survivors are immune. I'm thinking a chemical or radioactive plant or some such will be added somewhere (way NW?) and it will have been affected by the circumstances of the infection outbreak leading to spill areas etc. There will likely be some kind of suit that also has to be gathered to enter these areas safely. Edit: as for potential areas... If it is a chemical spill, it's as easy as adding a turned over truck/train in random areas that were carrying the chemicals as well as the plant itself.

I had success putting my fists up just before trying to go up them. May need to try a few times to get the timing down but it works.

    Ghille suit -paint issue?

No idea - I had no problem on ground or in bag. Are you sure the paint can or ghillie top isn't ruined?

    Appearances can be deceiving.

From looking at the message log - You're on a no KOS roleplay server. From looking at your hot bar - You are obviously roleplaying as a damn octopus.

Most scenic spot in Chernarus plus?

That spot just behind the ear of any player as viewed through a long range scope. Beautiful...
  7. You're right, I'm sorry. I'm off topic and I'll stop. I was finished anyway :P Edit: Beans provided. Please accept these beans as a sincere apology for hijacking your thread momentarily. I am now off to the coast to shoot a fresh spawn in direct exchange for the food I have provided.
  8. This statement is my favorite part of your hypocrisy. Only in DayZ, can a fully geared group, go to a spawn point and kill the same guy over and over and it not be called griefing... so long as the dickheads with guns gave someone else food and the guy with nothing threatened them with fists. Not only will the group be cleared of any foul play, but they will be considered heroes, as they were obviously in the area to kill those pesky bandits who have been harassing all the fresh spawns. L - O - L
  9. Yeah, I'd have shot the asshole too. My point is, without your guns in the area, those fresh spawns aren't dying. This dude wasn't trolling though, he was looking for an easy weapon, a situation that you brought with you. Look dude, I got no problem with how you want to play the game. It just seems pretty hypocritical to me. You and your buddies wanna run up and down the coast playing billy bad-ass with a sack of food, it's fine. Just don't pretend you got 8 guys to show up to go feed the hungry. There is definitely other motivations in play here.
  10. I did bite... I can confirm the video has at least 1 person being killed, after which, one of your buddies makes a "had to" statement. Skipped around a bit after that and watched around 8 guys with guns failing to turkey shoot 1 fresh spawn running madly around them all. Stopped it right there. I standby my previous post and I'm sure there are several more instances within this 1 video of you and your "heroes" wasting fresh spawns. You can hide behind whatever delusional reasoning you have created to justify it, but without you being there, those fresh spawns aren't being shot. In essence, I am stating that your presence there, under whatever noble pretense you are using, is creating a situation where you and your friends get to shoot fresh spawns and feel totally justified. It's hypocritical and BS. I particularly enjoyed the yucking it up shared by all when the 8 guys with guns finally hit the 1 fresh spawn running around. I like how the same type of people who keep stating it takes no skill to kill fresh spawns and it's so unrewarding and lazy are the same people actually killing them and enjoying the shit out of it. They also get a free pass to do it, because they went there to hand out food... LOLZ At least the asshole behind the tree, 2 miles up the mountain, isn't pretending he is a great guy or hiding behind false pretense.
  11. Disagree with this one statement from your post. I am glad there are people out there shooting fresh spawns and they enhance my game playing experience. I agree it's lazy but I wouldn't call it non-constructive. It adds to my tension which is welcome to me. I also disagree that fresh spawns have very little they can do. I get KOS'd regularly but rarely as a fresh spawn. You mentioned you play primarily as a care-bear, which is fine. I like to care-bear stare from time to time myself. Friendly interaction in this game is just as rewarding as hostile interaction. I find it odd that the only people I see complaining about fresh spawn killing are those primarily playing a friendly game. (I'm making a general statement here, I know your post isn't complaining about it.) If the hostile players are dealing with this same problem when they spawn, maybe there is something within the way they play that is making it a non-issue for them. Maybe there is something within the way the friendly players are derping about which is leading to fresh spawn KOS affecting them more?
  12. OP - Just pulled up your youtube channel but I didn't watch anything as the thumbnail for your very first video confirmed my suspicion. Thumbnail: Fresh spawn on road with hands behind his head while Mosibfu stands over them with a weapon. There is no such thing as a hero, you're just on the coast to play geared bad-ass with your buddies. I bet your videos of "helping" people are filled with many instances where you "HAD" to kill someone for whatever reason.

Reason why Bandits rise and heroes die.

Probably the single most intelligent post I have ever read on these forums. This should be the message that pops up when you log in instead of the alpha notification which nobody is reading anyway.
  14. I agree that the player interaction is what drives DayZ and it's story. But the zombies and the apocalypse are the stage and are just as important.
