Yeah because removing .pbo files is totally the same as using in game settings which developers INTENDED there to be and other people to use to run their SHITY unoptimized game. People are forced to tweak in game settings. Get a life, kid. You can either have a beautiful game with 10 FPS, or shitty CS graphics with 60 FPS. Players choose according to their needs, and since this game is all about PvP I don't see personally a reason not to tweak my own settings to get as much fps as possible and to spot other players faster.

 

This isn't survival zombie game (at least yet), it is survival elektro game.

How is that "exploiting graphics?" I have my graphics set to achieve the best performance instead of the best visual quality. If lowering my textures gives me a little more speed to respond to an attack, why wouldn't I do it? Do you turn your graphics up to max settings? Also, your comparison to my adjusting in game graphic settings to modifying configuration files, which is cheating, is ridiculous. By your logic, anyone who uses 3PP to be able to see players who can't see them are obtaining cheap kills too.

LRS are impossible for me to find. I have only found one in 300 hours of play, off the corpse of a player.

 

 

I don't have a problem with sharing sniper spots because there are 1.5 million people playing and I figure the majority of them will not read this thread. Also, I assumed it was a bad sniper spot, which is why I posted it here. My spot before that was right behind a bush to the left of that clump of trees, but it was a lone bush in the middle of the field and I now realize it had terrible cover and was viewable from all over. I got 42 kills from that bush though, but it is too risky to continue using.

All textures and graphics are turned down to the lowest level to increase FPS and allow me to better see players. I don't care if the trees look pretty, I care if I can see the guy hiding behind them.

If you want a better sniping spot, move to your left and up the hill a little bit under the first spruce tree, and slightly infront of it. It's 400-500 meters to the firestation, 600 to the grocery store, 700 to the school, 800 to the hospital, 700 to the other fire station, 700 to memorial hill (the small hill on the other side of the fire station).

 

You won't be able to snipe from there using a PU Scope though, as you'll need to reliably hit people at 400-800 meters out.

There is nothing wrong with the PU scope from that position, it should definitely be within the 300m range. 

 

Lol can the carebears get over the fact he's sniping? he's clearly alright with it, as you should be. Electro is a known sniper nest, if you're willing to go there because you feel it's the only place on the map, that's your problem.  

 

I don't really think it's that good of a sniper position unless you are already aware that there are targets in that particular firehouse. You have a pretty good view of sniper hill, so that's a plus, but are blind to the entire city, where many targets will go to first. 

 

I'd say find a LRS, and move a bit west so you have a good view of the city, if you hear shots coming from sniper hill you can easily respond by moving east to the position in your picture.

There is nothing wrong with the PU scope from that position, it should definitely be within the 300m range. 

 

 

I was saying the position I was referring to was 400-500 from the firestation. His position may be 200-300, but it's not very smart as in order to fall back he has to go out into the open, and he can easily be flanked because he has no vision of anywhere else in elektro.

I prefer finding spots where it's not common thinking that anyone would be "there" and snipe. Finding these spots are exciting and makes you think, "why doesn't anyone snipe from here?" These unusual spots are the best to me because you have a lower risk of people scanning the area, like they do the usual spots like, high up on sniper hill, the hill behind the hay bales, or the rookie spots like roof tops, lol...

I have recently been sniping and after thinking to myself where would be a good place, i asked myself where do i think people are, always looking up on the hospitals/roofs/towers etc.

 

i made many shots with successful kills by basically laying in plain sight where you think, why would anyone ever go their, thus making it the last place anyone would look :D

See the bush to the left of you just in front? Swing your gun level just passed it and it will be pointing at the opposite hill. Now scope in and check under those trees and think to yourself, "If I was under any of those trees, could I be seen from where I am now" If the answer is "Fuck me it's that obvious??!" then you're probably in a bad spot.

You learn fast that the best sniper spot is the one you never stay in permanently... Play for a bit and you start recognizing the areas along and in the treeline that usually have a clear line of shot on a few places in the cities.

 

Personally.. I find people pretty easy in the trees more than in the cities. Sit in hiding and wait for that gunshot to go off thats not in the direction of town. Youll be sure to find someone if you look well enough.

 

 

to add.. On that note as well.. Cant wait til audio is fixed more.
