i quite liked this post, i know now a days people call them self a sniper when they hold an m24 or DMR but always seem to rush to fire a shot, more often than not then getting themselves into a gun battle wasting ammo, i like the way you described it all, sniping comes down to patience and timing waiting for the person to stand still long enough to pull off the kill shot.

I started off playing SA and racked up around 200 hours play time before i heard about the arma 2 mod, after a while researching i purchased it and played that without thinking of SA, much more indepth, base building etc, not i have moved to arma 3 epoch, played it for 15-20 hours currently, has ai, guns and equipment to find, cars, boats, helis and submarines. Much better than SA in my opinion, give them ago, arma 3 is much more costly though but i definitely recommend the arma 2 epoch mod.

i would recommend making the restart time of the server to around 4 hours as its currently on 8 hours 25mins with quite abit of lagg. Edit:- Great server with lots of thought put in, currently hit 9 hours on uptime with around a 2 min wait for response on traders, i think a 4 hour max uptime would be perfect, other than that, excelent job :) will be online again tomorrow.

may use some of these myself as im trying to get taviana working haha, been unsuccessful so far but just heard of ccg launcher that sets up the perameters for you so in hoping that's the reason its not working for me :D

ok, so i have played many servers and have built many bases that range from huge oversized fortresses to the small shack in the woods but in curious and im looking for ideas on what kind of base i should build on a new server, the server is the basic epoch, been thinking about a skybase but the faults are i would always need a helecopter to get to it so if i died then its start fresh to get a mozzie, or i was thinking a water base, any thoughts or ideas of your own? Also are their any cliffs etc on chernarus?

ok, thanks, been having problems loading anything that is not epoch, really annoying tbh as everything is downloaded but still tells me im missing files :/

just a question, why have all the mounted weapons to defend a base if they are indestructable, may aswell make indestructable cinder and metal but leave wood, it is dayz after all
