Geckofrog7 1168 Posted February 25, 2014 (edited) This sounds like fun, especially when persistent stuff is introduced.Even more so when vehicles are introduced. :D I can be a stalker/scout, bringing back supplies from airfields and such. This was where I found a tent on my first run in the mod. Found a coyote pack and an M4 among other things. Also found a truck an hour later. Man I was sooo nub that someone stole the truck when I got out at a gas station. I was tryin to figure out how to fuel up and someone just jumped in and took off hahaa memories :D

Wed also need a building dedicated to sending out radio messages every day at noon, when the sun is highest in the sky. No position giveaways, just meering locations, advice and Be on Lookout messages

Whyherro123 2283 Posted February 25, 2014 In a bushcraft camp, you want to be relatively close to a source of fresh water, but not "too" close, as human waste has a horrible habit of killing everything dead in the environment, including you if you get it in your water supply. There should be at least 200 feet of space between "rooms" of your camp, this includes -Water sources-latrines-cooking/eating (especially important)-storage-game processing (stupid important)-sleeping "Professional" bushcraft camps are actually rather spread out. tarascon 50 Posted February 26, 2014 Who want come with? We can bring books, and live life. Dear Sir: I'm assuming by your mention of books and life (emphasis on living it) that you are offering the companionship of decent folk. I choose to believe that this is not a trap devised by a ruthless bandit clan warlord. ;) In short, if you are a cultured and gentle folk, I would be happy to consider you all as friends. Or, at least, trade partners. On the other hand, if you are indeed evil, would you please leave a note on the top deck of the "Ship of glitchy death" specifying your exact location so that--at some point in the future--I can show up and exact vengance.Thank you, tarascon

Window Licker 504 Posted February 26, 2014 (edited) There is quite a big lake. But it doesn't have any water in it (yet?).No water in that lake currently, I will say that the settlement would need to be closer to the pass, as the upper left corner appears to have building's already planned in, it's been a while since I've been up that way. there is also the layout for several towns in the north (walk the norther road/train tracks and you'll see them) there is an area directly north of Svelto as well which look's rather nice, might be a bit close to civilization tho. But walk the far northern roads and there is several places that look ideal for setting up a quite base. Edited February 26, 2014 by Window Licker
Spiderdude20 32 Posted February 26, 2014 Although people already offered their services for security and looting, I'll still chip in. When vehicles are introduced, I'll be driving down to cities farther away for stuff.

All they are waiting for is a time and place to acquire said goodies. DayZ paranoia in full swing, and I'm not even playing, this game will destroy lives.
