aha. we've spent the last 2 days searching for a god damn mosin for a buddy. All we've seen is: SKS's, shotguns and double barrel riffles.

I havent seen an M4 in over a week, doing my regular rounds throughout airstrips and what not, i have a hotspot for a mosin which i find everytime i newly spawn but i have been having a hard time finding any ammo lately, finally found one 20mag of 7.62x51 for my mosin and i have been finding tons of sks's everywhere and asp rounds. Also found my first Blaze 95 but it was on a dead body but still kept my mosin; head inland or north when you look for better stuff you will have much better results

lol it was probably me. 

I snap up all the M4 mags I can find and gradually replace them with bigger sizes and better conditions. I also grab all the Magpul accessories I can find. 

Then I head to a city to trade. Been reasonably profitable so far. People are usually more than happy to trade me shotgun shells and Mosin ammo, food or a pistol for a few good full 60 round clips or a Magpul butt.

I have a camo Mosin and was rockin' an M4 with 3 mags on top of that for a while. In one session I found at least 3 more Mosins, another M4, about 4 SKSs and a double barrel shotgun. Even saw an elusive FNX magazine. I only play on populated servers because empty ones are boring. You might not think it but servers with people in them have more loot when you go past Electro because most people die closer to where they spawn and never make it that far. I guess we don't play on the same servers.

Nah man, just don't stay on the coast on a high pop server. Don't be a pussy and gear up on low pop servers! :p

Pretty easy to find loot if you just head inland straight away. Even small cities like Novoselky and Dubky right next to Cherno usually still have good stuff left in them.

Well, never had problem to find ammo/magz(mostly magz) to M4. About guns..  i alway take foundweapons and again take back my weapon. New found weapons disappear after 10 min. No one get. I am so evil.

Took me a good couple of weeks playing a few hours a day to find a mosin. Pistol mags have vanished also, yes I know where they spawn but I'm just not having any luck.

 

I'm glad the m4 is rarer now because it makes finding all the attachments a challenge and a reward when you have a fully modded one.

 

The mosin just looks sexy with those bipod legs and LRS though.
