Ruined stuff when u shot sameone?

Seriosly , i just cant get it, i know that there are bunch of pussys that dont like to die and love being looting for junk 6 hours in a raw, whithout doing anything else , and this prevents KOS, but came one everyone wants things to be real, and keep praying for that kind of stuff, they even put hart attacks the most stupid real thing ever.

 

But u get shot and everything gts ruined? FFS  where is that real, yeah that could be a chance to some stuff get ruined , but all?

Try to put a bag full of shit on sameones back, and shoot the hell out of them from the front, then go to the backpack... of course if u shoot on theyir back, yeh probably, but sometimes u shoot a guy with a mozin shot, all destroyd? came on seriosly?

 

Im annoyed to see people being like " hey but that way people wont shoot on sight "

 

Dude WTF, go play sims, this game is awesome because allows you to be paranoic about people, places, gear.

And aint about loot that people kill , because if sameone killed u is because is already geared up, they dont want ur shit,

I kill people o sight because i dont take chances to being shoot, that way i survive, when i see sameone i dont start alking to them to ask if theyir friendly, i learned about that!

I hope you understand that the end goal of this game is to be a sim. Things are going to be added that make it more difficult. This includes heart attacks, catching colds, fighting infection, slowing down because of the amount of gear, so on and so forth.

 

It is going to become more 'realistic' and therefore more of a sim as we go forward.

 

So if you are not into 'sims' then I'm afraid you are going to be quite disappointed.

 

[EDIT: However, I can agree that having everything be ruined is a bit overkill...it is a system that is still being tweaked and refined. You're going to have to deal with it until the mechanic is finished.]

If you don't want the gear and items on a player getting ruined when you shoot them, go play ArmA2 or ArmA3, everything stays "pristine" when you kill players...  :rolleyes:

 

Oh, and also, Alpher.

 

P.S: On a serious note, I had to defend myself and killed a guy near NWAF. Shot him in the head with an FNX. Nothing was ruined except his axe, boots, and some food he had. Don't overshoot players if you want some gear still in good condition or wait till the damage is evenly distributed in a future build.

Even with the terrible grammar, I agree. It seems a lot of the people here didn't actually take the time to understand the post and just bashed on him.

 

It really does make no sense to shoot someone in the chest then every single thing they have is damaged, but I'm pretty sure they're working on that.

Here is the thing in the current build the only areas to shoot are head, chest and legs.

 

The backpack is counted with chest so it take damage from front and back equally.

LOL... Sorry, but the tone of righteous indignation in the OP is just funny!

 

What you have got to remember is that most gear is not 'Pristine' to begin with. You shoot through a backpack full of worn or worse gear and even in you miss a goodly percentage of it, just the jostling and bashing together as you crumple into a bag of blood and bone some of it is going to decide to die along with you.

 

You can't expect a 'Badly Damaged' can o' beans to react kindly to being shot at and unceremoniously thrown to the ground very roughly! I know I wouldn't.

i dont usually loot the body anyways... if you already have a gun and a bag means you probably have food too. no point of looting player's body unless they have good attachment on weapons.

Well they made it so if you shoot people that the stuff gets ruined. SO YOU DON'T GAIN ANYTHING OR MUCH FROM KOS'ing

Well, a single bullet to the torso, passing through to the backpack would do limited damage i guess, even if many objects don`t take kindly to being smeared with blood. But several bullets, 3-4, could easily do alot of damage to the objects in the backpack.
