Think about it, why would someone have a server that is nightmode only, when nightmode is almost impossible to play right now? And if they want 3PP off, they can just set it to Hardmode in their settings.  Add the word "night" to your filter, and the max players to 10, and you can easily find these and join them, and prevent these people from exploiting the system by having their own loot farms. This one is a good example. It is daytime mode and 3PP is on.

Unless they are actively kicking players for joining, I don't think the ToS is being violated. Yes they are abusing the regular naming conventions for servers but that isn't actually mandated by the ToS. The only naming convention you must comply with is:

• Your server must contain the version number and whether it is Regular or Hardcore. ie. (Regular|Hardcore) VERSION

Therefore, reporting them would be counter productive as there is nothing to enforce.

 

As to too regular restarts:

• Server operators MAY frequently restart their rented instances in order to keep the time at a certain point.

Unfortunately that is expressly allowed.

Reporting doesn't do anything because they aren't violating any rules. And I'm not abusing them, I am trying to encourage other people to join them to bring up the populations and void the admins' attempts to make them personal loot farms.

actually you can make a server private. thus some servers ( very very few) have a lock symbol on the, and when you try to join it wont let you or even some cases you die right away. and this isnt really a good thing to do. yes there are "SOME" servers that hae misleading names but 90% of them dont, a lot of times when you see a server that says 24/7 night time its probably really gonna be nightime. what people should do is just filter out the servers by time and population, and a lot of servers have "hardmode" settings but are not actually in a "hardmode" serer. thus you keep your character from a regular server but you can play on a server with hardcore rules

Report them for what? Theres so many loopholes in the user agreement right now that people are getting away with kicking people constantly out of their servers let alone this miniscule "exploit". Kinda smart, and if it works, hey, it works :P
