To people who think kiling bambis is wrong check this out

Recommended Posts

then hope you dont meet us bud. you see anyone with a tag {fsts} and your camping bambies 1 tag will turn to 7 and your going to be watched. and when we see you killing bambies your getting a 7.62 round through your eye socket then we will leave your corpse there for the bambies to gear off of.

its a cowardly thing to do, if your going to be a prick go and pvp against people who can defend themselves. just because they havnt invested hours and hours into a character doesnt make it right. you could be setting them back big time. what if there running towards their group? what if they are trying to get back to their stuff in the hope they can make it, what if they were spawn so far back that they just run past you *pow* and then they end up spawning even further than what they originally had. and luring heros is a bad idea.

"1 tag will turn to 7"  a lot of heros travel in groups. and killing someone who is trying to help the gaming community is beyond toxic.

if you want target practice take shots at zombies. and you want a moving target? get a buddy on, have them agro a zombie. then take shots at that.

not some poor guy who might have just got the game "oh boy i heard so much about this game this is gonna be-*POW* oh im dead well lets try agai*POW*" we have all had momments like that. its not friendly, it ruins the game for people who have started out early. and makes the community that much more "KoS"ish

i will not be surprised if i see a post from you about someone KoSing you and you bitching about how its not cool.

your type is the reason why i run bambies to cherno and elekctro, to make their experience that much better. so they dont think EVERYONE just wants to kill them

your the type of person that makes some of us go full out bandit because they think the game is full of shit people.

and in turn those people kill others and those people going bandit as well in turn

thanks for being a dredge on the dayz gameplay

i wish you the best of luck on surviving the heros, and hope you glitch through steps and break your legs

Calling someone out/threatening them over forums and flaming them for their opinion on something is unnecessary.

Lets not escalate the situation. Honestly you need people like him to have someone to protect the bambis from. Especially since many of the more creative bandits roll in groups as well.

EDIT : Even though I'm assuming this is only aimed at OP I'd like to clarify that I am a bandit and very rarely KOS - I harrass people with the insane ramblings of my character who is deathly afraid of pants and I reward my targets for their tolerance and cooperation. I make the game better and more memorable for those I interact with, yet I get KOSed by heroes all the time.

In short - tagging yourself as a hero doesn't make you better than anyone else, don't look down on someone for their playstyle even if you don't agree with it. I don't like your playstyle but I'm not going to go around shitting all over you because of it.

RE-EDIT : Corrected some typos

im not threatening him its a warning to him of what our group does, i never said i was going to hunt him down. and im not flaming . hell half that post wasnt even directed AT him mostly directed to the people here who seem to think its ok to ruin someones game experience for the sole reason of "practicing your aim" or simply any other bs reason someone can think of to make what they do seem "acceptable". yes, pvp happens, you run into people in airfield or pretty much anywhere up north i have no sympathy, you enjoy those fights the time spent looting and finding cool things, but is nasty to just start picking off people off the coast . doesnt matter how often you do it and then have the idea in your head that you have a good reason to.  and saying its a good reason because it gives people like me a reason to help bambies? thats like saying its a good thing robbers and thieves , and murderers exist because if they didnt police, and the court system  wouldnt have anything to do. This game eats soo much time little things like that make the players upset because just that little act of kill a fresh spawns can waste about 30 mins- to an hour  even more on the higher pop servers  of their time just respawning and trying to find away around these types of people that they could be spending looting and exploring and having a good time

Now for the people who execute bambis...ya they are assholes but for people like me and others who agree with this. Shooting and or killing bambis is not a form of grief or being a dick its much more practical than that.

I shoot at bambies to improve my accuracy. Ya i can shoot a geared guy camping no prob...but those guys running across a field...nope, so what better way to practice then at the moving target range (coast).

Do i do this alot, no. Is it a valid way of learning how to shoot moving targets, yes. Better to camp the coast and kill freshies then camp an airfield to kill people who invested hours.

Think about that.

I'm going to try give you a constructive counter-argument to your statement. Starting with: I would rather be killed in an airfield up north than to be shot without warning on the coast with nothing.

It's always very jarring to be killed by someone with your philosophy. Like when you catch your best friend fucking your wife, or finding out your pet died. -- You spawn fresh. Start running down the tracks with excitement and fear. Then BOOM! 'You are dead.' - Your heart just drops into your stomach and you're left with a sour taste. It's probably the worst thing you can do to someone in DayZ.

Where on the other side of your philosophical coin, I always feel absolute relief upon being shot up north, while fully geared. My gun and gear gives me peace of mind, but also total paranoia. At least I have a chance to shoot back if you miss. Furthermore, if I'm killed quickly I usually let out a nice sigh of relief, relax back into my chair, and smirk it off.

Teh feels, bro. You've got them on the wrong categories. You've twisted the reality of how people feel when you kill them for your own sinister justification.

Although i don't go around shooting bambis anymore when i was new to the game i did use them as target practice.

It's well and good saying go and fight some geared people for the adrenaline rush but if you have not mastered the basics like shooting a moving target you're never going to stand a chance.

I never shouted down the mic at them or acted like a dick about it so i dont see what the big deal is.

Taking a geared character the coast is forfeiting your gear. Be prepared.

This is off topic but I love the .gif in your sig.  That is awesome.

exactly. you have that satisfaction when killed in pvp that you did somthing or that you had the chance to do something. and then people like this just nail you off the coast right when you spawn, its puts you down and makes you not want to play because there are people like that who are just going to ruin the experience for you. i honestly dont care what some kid does, i get shot up north, so be it it was my own damn fault for not being carefull. but then some kid who has to camp for people who have no way of defending themselves, all for the sake of practice because hes too afraid to engage in actual gameplay irritates me, id dont care what this guy wants to do to burn his time but he doesnt need to waste others time and have to make up an excuse for it to make it seem like he was in the ok

Im a terrible shot so I shoot bambis

this is arguably the dumbest excuse for greifing ive ever seen

You seem like a clever chap, however, I know someone who looks like the guy in your avatar and I can't stand him in real life. Now, I know this is ridiculous, but the more I look at it and associate the two of you together, I'm starting to dislike you as well. I'm sorry man, I CAN'T FIGHT THE MENTAL ONSLAUGHT.

I was a terrible shot so i shot bambis.

I was not shooting them for fun or to grief them i was shooting them to get better. Just because you cry about it that does not make it griefing.

If you are that upset about it you must be a terrible player because i can avoid getting shot if i want to, i think you need to learn the game a bit better and you might get a bit less of that grief thats being dished out along the COAST.

I have yet to die to player contact and I regularly rob people /live around vybor. You could sit in the treelines around NWAF, Vybor, Pustoshka, these are all extremely high traffic areas with players that will actually shoot back at you if you miss. You shoot at bambis because you are bad, you're making an excuse to grief freshspawns, a lot of which probably have never played the game/mod before. I just enjoy the fact you think shooting bambis is actually going to improve your ability at the game, you're already bad, you're practicing bad, you're going to stay bad. The coast is just the place for you.

Just be thankful the dayz forums wont allow me to include a waist down photo of my avatar, then you would really hate me.

Why don't you just go practice your accuracy on a gasoline tank?

Hello there

OP may not be acting in a way many of us agree with, but thats probably the point of his post.

What I do not like, and being a forum "noob" is no excuse, is the personal insults towards the OP.

Dont make me come in there and moderate.

Argue with the OP certainly, but no personal insults.

Rgds

Killing bambi's = one less threat later in the game

Errr, no? You just delayed them, possibly by 30 seconds to a minute, unless they get a better spawn and get to where they were going even faster. Myth busted!

a lot of which probably have never played the game/mod before.

Why have you just wasted all your time writing a load of nonsense when you could have just read my post because of that i have edited all the stuff your post would not have contained had you read my post properly.

This stuff is exactly what i do, but when i first started playing this game i was new to this and the mod. I needed to get better at shooting so i shot anything that moved until i was good, again if you had bothered to read my post you would know i don't do it anymore and the reason i don't is because i am a good shot now, All thanks to the crying new spawns such as yourself.

Some bambi went up to a clanmate of mine and started a convo, the bambi complained my clanmates mic wasn't working so to type back. As my friend was typing a response to a question the bambi knocked him out. Made me laugh, but I never let bambis get too close, I will warn them first we can talk but dont get close, you can usually tell by most peoples demeanor and speech if they have bad intentions or not.

I kill bambis because i dont give a fuck what you people think, and i hope some of you have been victims of my wanton, asshole playstyle. in fact, i hope it really pissed you off that i took a giant shit on your parade by gunning you down for no reason at all. in fact, i hope you bring your kitted-out friends to come exact some justice on the asshole bambi killer- because im gonna try my damnedest to kill them too, and make them try the respawn run back to their gear, only to get popped again as they get back to their bodies.hell i may even waste a full mag on your dead body, just to make sure all your shit is ruined when you get back to it.

in fact, i encourage you to come to my server with your holier-than-thou carebear attitudes, and attempt to bring some of that apocalyptic frontier justice to me and my crew. ill be the guy fully kitted in ttsko with a black beret, and you'll be able to be sure its me because i have a bucket hanging on my backpack i keep to collect all your tears that i use to water my unicorn tree.
