Sorry to say it but not everyone is you. I get on the forums when I want to see whats going on. It is rare but I still stay in touch with the game to see if it has progressed more OR at least to a point I feel it should be tried again. My original post was my opinion and one that many share. Many think its not enough yet even for alpha and are choosing to wait. People can stop QQ that others don't like the same stuff as them. edit: Yea most games are not in production still. If the game was complete I would not be on the forums. The fact that it is still being put together means I am here every once and a while to see how it is going. Maybe stop being so pushing with what people can and can not do. Exactly. People fan boy attack those who don't play then say exactly what you say... I am not playing it anymore and stay on the forums to do exactly as you said... wait until it is worth playing IMO again. If that is not your opinion then why try and be smart about it. I swear to god.. people get so snotty at others who try the game then leave. Ever thought that maybe JUST maybe because its alpha some people will leave and then stay up to date with things just until a point in which they feel it is good enough to come back to?...

bad game is bad. If wanted to play a KOS game I wouldnt do it on one that takes 15 minutes to get gear on. Also what you said plus the extraordinarily bad game mechanics is why I stopped playing. Desync and game engine is derp.

KOS will never end. Even with a hundred times more content. Cars, house building, anything. Nothing will stop KOS. Its fun to KOS and people will never stop.

If you think he was not boasting you are delusional. I was trying to imply that most people come on and use the "im only saying this to say sorry" approach. It was used to relate this typical boast thread to the graveyard of other boast threads. He is not trying to connect at all. No info was supplied to even help prove that. No names, server names, times, detailed descriptions of himself etc. So that leads to the conclusion that he is boasting or to stupid to know that it will be impossible to connect to said player in a obvious boast thread. Think about how many people die in those common places, then think about the gap in time in which the player who has no information to go off has to pass before maybe seeing this. It is either dumb, a boast or both. If you used deductive logic you would also come to this conclusion but you jumped on the side of a boasting fool. First off I am a big fan of you Dr. Second this sounds like a mixture of both and what I reckon would be the most common reason a kos happens. Fun and "grief". It is fun to kill someone and to out play someone, it is fun to get into situations that are panic filled and its fun to know that the spoils of this is someone being alerted to the fact someone else has "bested" them. As long as you consider a game riddled with desync as a skill game. The amount of times I have seen players desync out of a wall and or stay still when they are obviously running and die to a single shot in a vulnerable desync is derp. Pretty much playing roulette. This is the sign of a more grief motivated player. Bet he has fun though haha. All in all the game is ill designed to not be a kos dm game.

Thats awesome and exactly why I added the part about how sometimes people are just doing what ever they find fun in game. I'm sure you didn't kill people to grief and even if you did, whats to stop you? If a kos is done as a grief it is 100% based on the driving force behind why that player done the kos in the first place. Fun, to make someone mad, to play the game in a certain style to help a friend, who knows. I think it is safe to say most kills are "fun" and or "grief" related though.

However, why would anyone who is geared be in elek or a busy town? The reason is to have fun in their own style. As a bandit, hero, random or what ever who knows. Either way if a geared player is in elek and shooting on sight they are kos. If thats kos to grief (do it for the pleasure of knowing someone will be mad or upset) or a method to obtain fun (just for the thrill of the kill and no pleasure from making them mad etc)... well thats up to interpretation.

I agree however, killing others is fun. A player can be trying to obtain what is the underlining reason we play games "fun" by killing someone without the intention to grief. Unless that fun is obtained by the thought of making someone mad with said kill and not the action it self.

No this one is different to all the other ones. It does not involve someone logging in and being shot by someone and THEN that player coming back to "try" and contact that player to say "sorry" without "intentionally" boasting about a kill. Oh wait... nvm.

Poor game design leading to a inadequate outcome of what the game designers wanted the game to "really" be.
