1' Them being either humans or infected, it's a very stupid statement because; A: There is an overwhelming amount of infected, you will perish regardless due to lack of supplies/treachery among the group/infected aggression to the density of said group. B: You fight off other healthy humans which in case makes you a hypocrite.

 

2. "Who would act like a DayZ player in a real zombie apocalypse?" One who plays the game smart. I'd preform the way I do should I be forced to endure such a terrible issue and not be on-duty in the Marines. Also, people would definitley sit on a roof and shoot other people who came close to their potential supplies.

 

1. Are you serious? I'm not talking about getting a bunch of people and trying to kill all the infected I'm talking about getting a bunch of people and escaping while fighting them off, one person can't do that.

Not really, shooting isn't hard at all. Shooting someone 1000m away requires some math but shooting in general doesn't or have you never heard of rednecks? People that can't even read can shoot good, math doesn't matter it only helps in complex shots. Shooting something 50m doesn't require an extreme level of skill.

Primal instinct doesn't work that way if you were by yourself and threatened by people shooting at you or zombies, yes. If you wanted to live on and have a family you would find people and live with them.

 

 

This is my last post here, because honestly if you disagree with these points, you are either extremely smart and thoughtfull (Which I doubt highly looking at your posts) or just an idiot who will disagree with somebody who is trained in shooting Sniper Rifles, Assault Rifles, Hand guns, Personal Defense weapons, Carbine Rifles, Explosives, Survival Techniques, Combat training, Trapping, Pathfinding, Scouting, Tracking, Hand to Hand Combat, and has been trained in training scenarios of actual combat, among other knowledge on either of those subjects I have picked up from personal expierence.

You could survive on your own just fine, whatever. You would die on your own.

 

Standard civilians who don't have your wealth of knowledge would band together and adapt or do you think everyone has the knowledge to survive on their own? Everyone has different skills a community with a mechanic, doctor, hunter, dentist, farmer, engineer and scientist is far more efficient than one guy.

They might slip up and all die like in the movies but not every group would.

 

If you're even legit with all that can you not even picture how people who aren't trained in those ways would operate? Just because you can do that, if you can, doesn't make you some kind of genius. You would enjoy a lonely survival and die when you started getting old or sick whereas groups of people who found somewhere defensible would be having kids and building society again slowly.

Just yesterday I basically let a dude kill me just so I could shoot him a couple of times where is the fun in that? There's no skill or anything involved I had a 1911 and had to walk up the stairs slowly. It's just such a lame way to play the game do people not like a challenge?

I love that we get grenades now, camping on the second floor of the building with the jail cell is very dangerous now...

When I'm a fresh spawn, I want there to be people hiding in the woods taking pot shots at me - if there aren't, then there's no tension and the game is too easy and no fun. If we aren't forced to be paranoid about a constant unseen threat (snipers), then DayZ is not really worth playing.

 

The only people I will always take a shot at are bambis who sprint around in the open, seemingly without a care in the world - these people deserve to be shot. They need to learn that Chernarus is a dangerous place. I want Chernarus to be a dangerous place to be, and it's up to us players to provide that danger because the game mechanics sure as shit don't do it yet.

 

Sniping bambis is a necessary evil - nay, an obligation - that all geared players should participate in.

I was new and clueless once. But I've made some reasearch and I knew that others could kill me, so I was bloody carefull. It was all that I needed to survive my first moments. I just stayed away from major cities and run like hell whenever I've heared a gunshot.
