Primary: Mosin with a compensator, probably going to switch back to an SKS or maybe an M4 provided I find them with ammo.

Secondary: FNX45 with 3 spare mags and handful of bullets in a chest holster.

Melee: Pristine Fireaxe that I've had quite a bit of good luck in chopping zombies heads apart.

Looking forward to finding other guns, specifically a Magnum. I've only found an M4 once so far, and didn't take it due to my SKS having more ammo and I figured it wasn't good for the situation of being on the coast.

i like the M4 with mp parts,bi pod and acog or iron sight piece for CQB (havent found the silencer). . I just like the m4, always will. The m4 is more versatile imo. also being able to dump rounds down range is nice at times, its accurate with mp parts and bi pod for range( i dont do long range engagements, so the m4 is just fine for me, since most of the time i see or meet people is in towns and not in an open field. When the AKM comes out ill be using that most likely then the m4.

A decked out M4 is my favorite, but it's not easy to acquire if you play legit (no server hopping tent city, ect.). Mosin is what I look for first, but often find an sks before, so I like those as well. However I like the sks better, out of the two, with no scope. When I do find a Mosin, my next goal is a PU scope, and if I'm feeling frisky, I'll take a hike over to Balota for an LRS. Shotguns are my favorite for secondary, but I don't like being caught out with one against multiple people. For secondary, I go for FNX if I can find it. Usually end up finding a 1911 first. Fucking love the crossbow, but the reload draw is just too long for an encounter gone wrong. When I happen upon them, I use them on the zeds of the town I found it in and then dump it.

I play anything that is not common and boring, to have more fun and kill with style.

my combinations might be:

1-Double barrell, Sawed off, handgun

2-Blaze95, sawed off, handgun

3-Crossbow, sawed off, handgun

Yeah!  All about the style points.

Magpul M4 and either of the .45 ACP sidearms.

Sometimes if I'm bored I'll borrow a nugget from a marksman.

Recently made the switch to the sks after surviving with an M4 for some time. If you have a patient trigger finger it can get the job done just as well as the M4. In addition, the larger caliber round makes body armor feel less overpowered (vests stuffed with helmets). Having an easy to find platform plus PU scope also increases your awareness of your surroundings a lot faster than if you try to do the same with an M4 and acog.

M4 with Pristine MP parts, bipod and ACOG + RDS to switch to for CQB.

This weapon currently, with this setup, has the lowest dispersion in game. Is accurate and deadly up to 400m, and with some practice and luck beyond that. Combine it with the Binoculars and you have the ability to spot any Mosin sniper from the same distance he can, yet you have the upper hand to flank and use the M4's advantage in close quarters over single shot/semi-auto weapons. Using the firemode select on the M4, and the attachments available it has the widest range of use compared to other weapons. It is also quite easy to find everything you need for it. So my choice is:

That may all be well and true, but in the end, the m4 still has no style points =P

To each their own though!  If everyone used the cooler guns they'd cease to be cool as well I suppose!

The SKS.

Common ammunition and easy to acquire early on, it is the perfect mid-range weapon, especially when paired with a PU scope.
