Why does this happen?

Every time I start the game and try and join a server I usually can. But if I happen to go to my favorites list or refresh the list, sometimes it won't come back. Or like 5 server names pop up. If I keep hitting refresh none will eventually appear and then I have to restart the game.

 

Does anybody else experience this and if not, is there anyway to fix this?

I feel your pain, man. Not only that, but when this occurs on my end, I can't even use my web browser. It takes around five minutes for everything to settle down and work properly afterwards. It's really fucking annoying, I'll admit. I think it has something to do with how many queries the server list sends and receives, as all of the servers seem to refresh of their own volition every few seconds. After refreshing the list several times, it's sending so many queries that everything just gets b0rked.

Happen here too. I'll get 5 or 6 servers on one refresh, then 30 servers on the next... doesn't seem to be any logic in it. The only filter I have set is for servers under 60ms ping.

I tried that. It sat for 15 minutes without doing anything. 

I know what you mean though, sometimes it seems to complete the refresh and all the buttons reappear down the bottom. But very often it just hangs after searching 5 or 6 servers.
