tester9000 3 Posted February 14, 2014 I think it is time to add clutter and junk to the world of Чернорусь to which players can get creative with them. Some ideas· Already there is rocks but I never figured out what they're for. If we're able to make fire or kill someone (by throwing) with it, that'll be awesome.· Rotten milk. I'm sure someone is desperate enough to drink it. Surprised that no supermarkets stock them.· Rat poison. I've raided countless supermarkets but haven't seen a single one. Imagine adding this to a lake, bottle or something drinkable only to watch someone die from it. I think female gamers would love this.· Rat traps (6). Hard to see when deployed and makes a load snap when stepped on. Very useful to inform those scavenging upstairs that there's an intruder downstairs somewhere.· More clothes in the game. Surprising that there's no dresses ingame even though there are some, perhaps over a hundred female gamers. Perhaps Mr. Rocket the awesome should hire a designer? By the way, where's my AK47?

alldaypk 63 Posted February 14, 2014 I'm sure poisons will be a part of the game in the future, and random clutter like sour milk etc will be added when they solve some optimization issues.also, only 100 female gamers out of 1.4M sales? just being pedantic :)
Wolfguarde 108 Posted February 14, 2014 All good ideas, though I don't get why rat poison in the water would be more appealling to women than men.I think mechanics like that should be implemented... but hidden. The game's more interesting and unique mechanics should be things the playerbase has to work out themselves. The information will spread eventually, sure, but there will also be groups and individuals who don't know some tricks - and that will make things more interesting. taco241 393 Posted February 14, 2014 Drinking bad milk? I think you need to try sniffing some before you suggest it. No survivor would be desperate enough to drink it.Rat traps as noisemakers seem a bit of a cumbersome solution.Rat poison seems like a highly abusable, gets-old-quickly like the disinfectant spray. it just doesn't feel like a survivor simulator when your character prioritizes a box of poison in his bag for griefing. PS. What's with women in your life that they enjoy rat poison? More clothes are always nice for variety though.
avdutch 4 Posted February 14, 2014 The reference to women enjoying poison is because statistically, most poisonings are done by women, and poison is seen - historically - as the woman's weapon of choice. It's nothing sexist or bad, its just what it is.
TokumeiSennin 34 Posted February 14, 2014 Well, you are not first person which posting about add poisons.Rat trap... not sure about it. Time to prepare trap only for 0-2 mins to know that someone going... If there will be bigger bulding which need more time of checking then i am not sure you would hear sound of activation trap. I am sure more cloths will coming.

I like the idea of poison , although surviving is the norm in the apocalypse , being a human is second after you survive . So you're most likely going to want to kill someone for their stuff or their safe house (when barricades come in ) because human nature is to basically do whatever to survive (unfortunately). So I could see ALOT of people carrying around poison as opposed to bullets and guns ... Just imagine finding an unarmed "friendly" and allowing him to join your group because you wanna show him the ropes or just help him out . All is good and well till your group stops to have a bite to eat , the friendly offers all of you some rice , but eats some himself first . After eating the rice you realize you've made a terrible mistake, a horrid stomach ache tells that your new friend is not what he seems. Your original group of three is now vomiting without end while the "unarmed friendly" is laughing hilariously at the three vets he just tricked into death ... Awesome .. Not to mention you would never wanna eat/drink anything that could be poisoned at 100% (without being opened) like a water bottle or something . So I know it's just another thing for new people to "grief" about but that's no reason to not include something that fits perfectly into an apocalypse scenario . But yes the sour milk I don't think anyone would have use for sorry mate.

Say, however, you're up on top of one of the big towers near Balota - it doesn't matter if you're a bandit, or a hero who is out to snipe the bandits, they could help cover your back in case someone sneaks up on you

Why not use items which are already in game and craft something more loud.
