Ruger 10/22 sugestion .. custom parts in the game

Recommended Posts

I have a suggestion as the M4, put in the game custom parts for ruger 10/22 like this

archangel_kit_1.jpg

ruger_banner.jpg

or it not possible , put   high capacity magsines for ruger like this

50rnd.gifor Ruger_10-22_50-Round_Drum_Magazine_ProMa

50 mags or 100 mags :D will be a good option vs. a player with m4 etc  and a good quiet zombie down gun with a supressor.

Ohter sugestion  crafted silencer from oil filter

Gun has no place in this game.

That goes triple for one covered in that TapCo crap.

Gun has a big place in the game :) I heard on the stream something about modifying the 10/22 so we'll see something like this if not exactly this

10/22 is a very intelligent addition to the game arsenal and has much relevance. They are very common, and very inexpensive. Very moddable as well.

Would actually make a very good overall weapon in the game. Properly kitted it can be either an assault weapon or a sniper rifle.

Wabbit season is allegedly coming soon and a 10/22 is ideal for hunting wascley wabbits. Tho yes you are right not exactly likely in a dump of en ex soviet state, but the the B95 is even less likely.

As for the tapco crap on 10/22's. I hate it just as much as you on the other hand I would like to see stock and barrels for the 10/22 Pistol stocks and thumb-hole stocks could be fun, or maybe just the Hogue rubber over-mold stocks, here is an example of some fun I had building a 10/22 for a guy his parameters for it were "I want it to be more bad ass than anyone else's"

P1010003-1.jpg

P1010006-2.jpg

Hand built mono pod and adjustable stock in a Hogue rubber over-mold stock, barrel is 23 inches in length and 1.250 in diameter. The length makes the gun a lot quieter, more akin to a loud nail gun.

I'd say pass on stuff like the archangel kit. (In the game of course, I own one and love it.)

I could see a synthetic stock and *maybe* a suppressor, but nothing too tacticool.

Unfortunately when it comes a realistic gun presence in the game, which adheres to the game mythology surrounding Chernarus, that train has left the station long ago with the prevalence of the m4 and now the b95.

So I guess anything could be possible, though I am not personally a fan of the eclectism regarding the origin of guns in the game.

What chain of events would see Ruger 10/22s being available in Chernarus?

The same one that led all the other American and NATO equipement in Cherno?

Maybe a cargo plane filled with Ruger 10/22 and cowboy hats dropped its load before crashing.,

10/22 would be great for range for hunting small game, would definitely need to be a headshot to kill anyone though. Most of the dress-up kits won't do much for it in-game.

I'd much rather they focus on zombie mechanics first; hordes of thousands, ending them glitching through houses, etc. Right now it's not really not so much an apocalypse as it is seeing the shelves in stores when there's snow warnings....

Please, don't add unnecessary "tacticool","Geardo" stuff into the game.

More chance of cowboy boots being DoD issue than a 3rd .22 rifle.

We already have cowboy hats and B95's in this game. I fail to see why that fact is any kind of argument for addition of even more ridicilous guns.

Please, answer this question: How many Ruger Archangels per capita would exist in the rural region of a post-soviet country?

Far more than 5k dollar b95s would.

The blaser b95 would be far far far more uncommon than any archangel kit or any other redicolous gun.

Archangel?

Is that a dressed up Mini 14?

Are they marketed at people that can't afford a Bushmaster?

I thought people were smart enough to buy Colt, LMT, Noveske and Bravo Company when they wanted an AR-15 these days.

(as in more guns, not guns which are more ridicilous, although I think ridicilousness is a subjective thing)

Have you seen a single house that you would look at and think, "Yeah these people had a spare $5000 to spend on an antiquated hunting rifle"?

The argument is if that gun is in dayz, then the weapons available have nothing to do with the setting, therefore any gun can be included.

I am against all that crappy plastic tacticool stuff on 10/22's in game or otherwise, but I am all for custom option such as thumb-hole stocks/synthetic stocks, and different barrels. Not only will it be fun to try and find that "threaded fluted bull barrel PRISTINE" but putting these types of items in will eat up spawns of other guns/ammo helping alleviate the current glut of guns that results in just about everyone having their ideal gun inside of 4 hours played.

Any gun CAN be included, I guess. But should it? You could have a GAU-9 too, I guess you could even borrow ballistics data from Arma 2. There's already a pricey american gun in the game, so why not this one too? We all know guns have nothing to do with the setting anyway...

The only pricey American gun is the M4, and it fits. I would not be shocked to find a crashed or grounded A-10, that would explain why there are no herds of zombies, they were all dispersed by close air support! But making the gau-8 man portable? not a chance in hell Hercules couldn't handle that weapon.
