Char not saving?

Recommended Posts

Everytime I play for a bit then logout and come back I am in the exact same spot I was the lfirst time I logged in with none of the equipment or any progress saved from my last play session.

So basically I keep logging in tot he exact same spot ecery time with no save from last gameplay.

Any idea ??

Report it to the bug tracker, and make sure that you didn't join a hardcore server by mistake.

I'm having this same problem and I'm doing nothing wrong. Not logging in combat or anything, not joining hives or hardcore servers, etc. Even when I log and realize I have been reset to an earlier point, I don't move, and simply log out.

This doesn't fix anything, and I even did that today and logged in later to see if my character was back. NOPE, permanently reset to the coast.

Honestly, the fact that this still happens just as bad (worse, IMO) as it did when the mod was launched is embarrassing. You can say "It's an alpha!!!!" but that has lost meaning after almost two years with the engine. I figured bugs of this magnitude would be a priority.

Oh well, there's other games.

today I had the same problem...  188.138.74.119:2402

It´s not a char reset. Only the session is not saved.

Heres a place you might find its meaning again

ignore everything but the OP cuz it spiraled to BS but the OP sums up what it means to play an alpha. But in all honesty, yes go play other games and come back to this one when it has matured enough to be called a "game" which will probably be a good 9 months to a year from now.

Might want to wait till after wednesday.  I just had the same happen to me, but it will be alright.

Be Advised: Planned weekly maintenance will occur every Wednesday at 0700 GMT. Servers will go down for 3 hours
