Shooting from Vechicles with guns

Hey, as the title says: make an ability to shoot from vechicles with weapons: pistols, machine gun, ect...  :D

For example: you can press button and your caracter would peek out from car's window and soot... this would add a tons of action and emotions in pursuits on cars. I remember that crazy helicopters battles or when our team was fighting with helicopter in Arma2Dayz, that was so epic. But there was a lack of something like that on the ground...

I know this is mainly zombie survival game, but I think we love DayZ because it's unique situations and unique game expirience. What if your team would have a 2 cars, and someone stole 1, and you gonna pursuit him?.. :rolleyes:

Just because there are no vehicles in-game yet doesn't mean he can suggest it...

They will be there eventually and he knows that. It's just an idea for when vehicles are added.

I mean you could shoot from ground vehicles in ArmA2 too. Just with weapons attached to the vehicle but... I think its not too hard to make it for units on board too. (Battlefield has it, right?)

Yeah, A3 has a seperate(or maybe BI cant remember) team working on movin around in APCs and large helis, and shootin from cars. So yeah, even if it aint implemented Im sure itd be borrowed from that A3 idea when moddin comes out

it's something i would love to see, but i'm not sure the engine will allow it. I may be wrong however. Heres my rough idea of being able to implement it:

 

              I see it working similar with a turrets coding. when you are in any seat, clicking the aim button will activate this "turret" and the coding will detect the weapon and ammo you have on you, and lean you out the window with your weapon. I know this sounds weird but it is the only way i can think to add it in.

Should we make this something both the driver and the front or even rear passengers can do all at once? Can the driver drive with one hand and shoot his sidearm with the other, or is it strictly driver/gunner shooting arrangements? I see this as being useful in clearing out zombies

Well yes that is true, but if they take vehicles out to completely redo them they may want change things up so this is possible at all without removing and redoing them again.

with zombie hordes spawning, comes into effect, why not welding the front protection of a western movie locomotive to that same vehicle.

A locomotive buffer would be better at clearing the zombies out of your way, while a normal car front would run them over and possibly, when physics are introduced, have a chance to get rutted in corpses.

To the people who say it's not possible. It is, I've seen footage from I think VBS2 where one of the infantrymen engages a target inside the vehicle with his own weapon.

+1, but suggested a billion times before.

This is a necessity for vehicles. Always bugged me in the mod, being completely defenceless on the back of an ATV, inside a car, bed of a ural (And hopefully pickups) while a heli let down streams of M240 fire, or a HMMV rammed me until my wheels popped.

 

But the driver shouldn't be able to shoot unless the vehicle isn't moving. 

We should also be able to tosd Explosives out... For any Fwiends who are following.
