Damn trolls you are. And OP made this thread for trolling, knowing it will turn to this bs..

It was funny to read tho..

False. I didn't intentionally start this thread for flame. What I was saying was completely sincere. I was just nostalgic of DayZ, that's all..

By the way, you guys need to grow the hell up. You don't see me fighting over opinions of other people and I'm 16. /reqlock Just wanted to make a simple post about how I missed the community.

This thread made me smile, then laugh, then sad.  I appreciate what you were trying to do Cyreck - I've been lucky to have more positive encounters then negative ones.  By that I mean a majority of the time I've come across other players no griefing has occurred on either side.  Sometimes a shootout occurs, sometimes a friendly wave, occasionally even a trade or teamwork.  It makes the game a lot more fun truth be told.

As for the vehicles question, I'd really hope that vehicles require teamwork.  I don't know how complicated it would be to implement, but perhaps the only way to get a vehicle running would either be through a ridiculous single player timesink or a multi-player coordinated effort ala three people each doing a different task at different points of a car at the same time with the appropriate parts/tools etc.  Even then, I would make it very rare.

If I log in on DayZ one day and find it has became GTAZ I'll be very sad.  Like, cry myself to sleep sad :(

I'm sorry, I don't understand what you're trying to say.

Wow. Such misunderstand. Very scare.

I am not going to disagree there is a lot of bad seeds entering the community in SA, however, you have to remember, being an alpha, and not having much to do right now, most are getting bored and try to relieve that in different ways, usually results in KoS along the coast, zombies are mostly nowhere to be seen, and there is so little loot right now and other things in the game that even without server hopping, people get geared up relatively quickly, and you get bambis who are now an actual threat if you let your guard down for 2 seconds, you can be unconscious before you even have time to react if you don't already have your gun out and ready to shoot.

Regardless of how bad this seems right now, things will change as more stuff gets added and things get fixed(like combat logging), I am already experiencing a somewhat friendlier experience then what I experienced in the mod, though granted I am not a veteran to the game by any stretch of the imagination, but considering I am having this more friendly experience already, suggests that it will only go up from here.

Not to mention that KOS is sort of a part of the game - bandits will probably always exist and it's up to you to be the better person.

I take it this means 'requesting lock'?

Granted.
