How i learn to love 3rd person

Its not about loving it or not, the camera is pretty sh*t in first person, even with head bob off its jerky and disorientating. Do I have to even mention the mouse movement which is exaggerated 10 fold in First person mode ? Scavenging and navigating inside buildings in first person view is broken in my opinion.

Like i say, ego maniacs run to 1st only servers where they can fap about how hardcore they are.....while they just removed a big challenge from the game......and made it harder for there opponents to spot them....the real elite players take down 3rd users and there wall hacks while in 1st! :)

None of what you are saying about it being exploited is that wrong (appart from that irl i could show only an inch of my face, that noone could spot....on games you have to crouch or lean exposing an un realistic ammount of your body just to see, and thats what 3rd compensates for). But you are still making it easier.....by all rights 3rd on should be called hard mode and 1st called easy (hard to be spotted) mode :)

Well, to undermine the majority of you and stick to the tuth spoken by the op, I will try to tie in what he says with observed "laws."  ALL people that play 1st person want to play the game the way it was intended, according to them.  SOME people that play 3pp want to play the game the way it was intended according to them.  MOST exploiters will play on 3PP servers to use the wall peek and be able to scan behind them while running with no obstruction from backpack (I don't mean that to be negative, but it is true.  Hell, I LOVE 1st person, but the group I run with uses 3PP for battle awareness because it is WAY easier).  ALL hackers will only be found on 3PP servers.  Why?  Because they go to the fullest server, and they exploit like crazy.  ESP in 1st person?  That would be a waste.  Almost as much of a waste as buying a game just to cheat at it.  But I digest...

 

KoS has been strongly against 3PP for as long as I've been on the forums.  Now he is saying he is learning to love them since most douches will be on 3PP:ON servers.  Turning this into a Rabble-Rabble-Rabble fest over which is best is useless.  He was using humor and common sense to make a point.  A true point.  If you hate KoS, play in 3PP:OFF.  I've never been talked to more.  It's so easy to sneak up on someone, and most people that play 1st person either want the immersion, maybe some roleplaying, so they will say "I'm friendly" and I dont have to think He's friendly? Oh shit, he is going to kill me!  Like everyone on 3pp servers.

Im saying I dont think its right to insult someone for playing the game they way they want. After alot of people from this site say that's what dayz is about, and then they go slating someone for playing 1st/3rd person just because they dont like it? That doesn't seem fair to me is all.
