dromagewok@hotmail.com 164 Posted January 20, 2014 and maybe not the best timeplan to maintain the experimental servers while the first patch after 2 weeks will be released^^ It's "experimental" for a reason the maintenance is being done for this patch specifically as quite a few database changes are being implemented. This is something that very few people will play. The core experience is still live and fully functional for all to play, you can "opt-out" at any point. I have beta experimental in use...second update right now 108mb Please read the patch notes on the first page. Currently there are 2 experimental servers online for internal testing. As long as your DayZ is "experimental" you cannot join the usual servers right now. Switching back to normal it will patch again and allow you to play as before. (freehand or something) or are there a set number of preset skins? I like the idea of free-hand with layers. Who knows though. fluxley 2228 Posted January 20, 2014 There's no point in updating yet, as the twitter said, the public experimental servers are down for maintenance and expect to be up in about 3 hours time. Switching back to normal it will patch again and allow you to play as before.Did in fact read the patch notes however it did not indicate that the servers would be down on Monday for approximately 5 hours. Waking up on the east coast and having the update implemented and the 5 hour hiatus of servers us new as of today, this AM on east coast if i am not mistaken. If you can show me on the patch notes from friday where it indicates the servers would be down for 5 hours i would greatly appreciate it. Thanks in advance, and thanks for the info. Rather in about 2 hours when i see that the tweet which said it would need about 5 hours was posted 3,5 hours ago.
