Don't mind my rage

Recommended Posts

Full sprint running from a geared up guy after spawn. Stop because my char can't decide to vault a small fence so instead takes ten years to climb over it like an out of shape 90 year old with eight busted hips. After climbing said miniscule fence char decides to revault over some air, Captain combat continues to miss. Start ziggly zaggly running and manages to not get shot by horrible maniac spraying 5.56 who has watched Saving Private Ryan too much, stopped in my sprinting efforts by a 1.0 degree incline that forces me to walk. Shot 470 times.

It's ok, i have my own tissues.

Why do I never come across bandits who are this bad?

You really think they can navigate around a map if they shoot like this?

Had a similar experience like this yesterday. M4 Rambo hot on my heels and my character decides to take a leisurely stroll up the hill and proceeded to get peppered with bullets

Do you feel because you are not so well known member on the dayz forum that its okay for you to post a reply to a post like this?

[iRONY]Ahhh, fuck... Sorry guys. That just made me look like an arsehole, and I didn't actually add anything to the discussion. Sorry, again. My bad. But in my defence, at least I used actual words and spelt them correctly![/iRONY]

This is kind of an important topic. There is so much movement related stuff in the game which seems like it must be "approved" on the server first before the client can do it, but it just seems really wrong.

Better thread than the usual KoS, Bandit whining, Broken loot threads.

On topic: I liked your story OP. I have one also.

>Be at Balota.

>See two heavily armed bandits go into the jail tower.

>They walk in and close the door behind them.

>I stalk them, they hear my footsteps and check the windows, I'm crouching below them on some sly cooper shit.

>They never see me.

>One leaves I shoot him in the back.

>His friend must be scared shitless, cause he didn't go get his buddy's stuff and he's still in there.

>I wait, and open the door.

>Instant barrage of m4 with coupled mags.

>Misses every shot, I shit you not.

>I make quick swiss cheese out of him.

>Loot bodies. Go check the AT tower real quick, get hunter backpack on last floor by the railing.

>Clip through railing and die from a 2 foot drop.

Are you happy with dodgy vault system and the forced walk up a minimal degree slope mechanic ? Carry overs from arma i imagine and in all seriousness, they need to be looked at at some point :) I would hate to be another year down the road and both are still the same.

as my signature says..

Fuck off, nowhere does it say he was attached to his gear. In fact, he was a fresh spawn who didn't have any.

Sounds familiar.

Me and another dude were looting the North-west for a good half an hour at least. I decided to climb the ladder to the ATC roof to check for gear. I went to the ladder to go back down, it catapulted me in a five meter parabolic arc straight forward and I fell to my death.

My buddy looted me and then I quit. Luckily when I logged in to play the next day I was alive with all my gear next to the ATC. Janus, the two-faced god of bugs giveth, and he taketh away.

Heres an even better one.  Sitting at the military base north of kamenka scoping it out with some buddies and all of a sudden BAM. Our one friend goes down to a mosin snipe.

I immedietely go prone beside a rock, frantically trying to look around and see the shooter.

M4 shots come blasting in at the rocks now, theres obviously more than one of them.

We spot the mosin shooter at the end of the stone fence so I get ready to make a break for it to get close enough.

Go to sprint down the hill towards him and UGH.....

Slow walk time... free kill lol....

Down hill is even worse.
