Skype breaks game sound

Hey just a quick newbie question but whenever I'm in a skype call I can't hear any game sound :( 

Anyone got any tips?

Should be a setting somewhere, but don't I don't recommend using skype in general.

Yeah, this happens also to me, use TS3 now, alot better

Try this.

Windows Configuration/Sound/Communications/ validate ""Do nothing".

Same for TS.

Some programs have to be run as administrator on some configurations for your operating system when playing games in order for everything to work. I've noticed this over the years of gaming and owning different systems.

There is also a setting like this in Skype. Somewhere.

Skype over rides any other program running, if you user youtub for example it would lower that volume

Use TeamSpeak Wait! I think someone already said that. Hmm... Try this: Don't use Skype.

I like using skype better than ts or other voip. Do what wh1spy said, and if it lowers it in game, just alt-tab out right click the speaker in the tray next to clock. go to sound mixer, there you can turn dayz back up and adjust volume accordingly

Skype always lowers the sound volume of all programms. fuck the shit. 

Use Teamskeak, nothing is better.
