why was my character reset?

I had a fully geared out character, and was losing connection. Logged into some night servers, which I then log out of to find a day one, then when logging in, it says my character has been reset.  WTF...

lol, indeed, I don't get attached to my stuff. I think half the fun is surviving to get it, which I did. I just don't want this to be an ongoing thing, if I'm doing something to cause it, I need to know.

No seriously, just a bug ;) Sometimes quickly logging back to the previous server allow to retreive your character, but not always...

what "dead horse" am I beating, I just needed to know. I was under the assumption, this was where we learned about the game.

I've had this happen before, moved some gear around in my back pack, lost connection, relogged and found the items I'd moved around had gone.

 

Just a bug, will get sorted. :)
