dannsair2 (DayZ) 16 Posted January 8, 2014 (edited) I was in one of the airfields (I thinks it was the north east airfield.) when I came a cross a player he did no see me I was arm with a m4 and the fnx instead of shooting him I quit the game. don't now why I did it though I could of killed him but didn't. Whether you crawl under the dead, and hold your breath, cower behind a tree and cry, or slip away through the trees, zig zagging and praying a stray round doesent take you. In fact, in a heavy survival situation, you should always flee, and save your rations, ammo, etc. only combating someone when you have the upper hand, i.e element of surprise.Logging before a combat scenario arises is cowardly, but not completely despicable. You didn't engage, neither did he, therefore it was not a combat log. Would have been better had you slipped past his field of view, and either put him don, or scurried away.
