Uncle-Thugs 2 Posted January 7, 2014 So when I first started playing this standalone the sun was fine until yesterday. I went to play and now the sun is super bright and the colours fade in and out all the time. Anyone else having this problem?
jcrose803 48 Posted January 7, 2014 turn down bloom in graphics settings, and dont stare into the sun if you can help it...it's a star, and is bright enough to bathe an entire solar system in light.
sai (DayZ) 137 Posted January 7, 2014 The sun needs to be worked on its pretty unrealistic. But you are looking almost right at it, don't you have other pics?

Like I said it was fine a day or so ago and it just randomly turned out like this. Ever since the sun got this way the colours on everything are faded and the games takes ALOT longer to load. I was thinking could be my GPU but its a 760 GTX and its been fine so far. Edited January 7, 2014 by Uncle-Thugs

RelativeBlue 53 Posted January 7, 2014 Are you injured? It can get unbearably bright if you're really unwell.
DevilDog (DayZ) 455 Posted January 7, 2014 You may not know you are injured. Clean your wounds with alcohol.
Uncle-Thugs 2 Posted January 7, 2014 (edited) You may not know you are injured. Clean your wounds with alcohol. Thanks ill give that a go. I seem fine though though anyhow will try it Edited January 7, 2014 by Uncle-Thugs
jcrose803 48 Posted January 7, 2014 a 760 gtx should have no problem with this game. if you want to regain color by restoring blood then eat everything you find and drink gallons of water until the healthy status appears. You will then be able to regen blood and the color will return.

FroztyReaper 46 Posted January 7, 2014 Are you injured? It can get unbearably bright if you're really unwell. You may not know you are injured. Clean your wounds with alcohol.I have had the same thing with healthy status. On some spots and angles the sun gets insane with brightness and basicly cant look in that general direction even. Cant see anything so why bother? Actually died from that hahahha
jcrose803 48 Posted January 7, 2014 if it dosent say "healthy" in the inventory u are injured...from the pictures it seems like u have lost alot of blood it doesnt necessarily mean you are injured. You just havent consumed enough food and water to get your energy level and water level to a certain point. watch this video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GwNgTnj9hBE
