Sounds like we are having the same issue. Only limited servers show up and they won't let me join.

Thanks for the reply Kichilron, I have previously updated Commander as well as trying out Launcher and I am still encountering the issue across all platforms. I have been playing DayZ since first release so I you understand I am at a loss when I don't know what the issue is. I have made an album with screenshots of what my launching screens look like; very few servers appear and maybe one from Australia. It's got me pulling my hair out http://imgur.com/a/7yCsq#0 note that it shows in commander that I am running 1.8.0.3, I have tried a multitude of versions with no effect

I have been unable to join any servers using any launcher (Commander, Launcher, 6, Steam) for DayzMod. I haven't changed anything as far as I can tell and now when I try to return to the game after a few months away no servers show up on my list except for maybe 100 or so epoch and other mod servers. Any idea's on the issue??

Sorry if this is a repost but I can't seem to find a solution anywhere and it's driving me insane!! I haven't played in a while and have just come back to log on but no servers are allowing me to join. They were all greyed out in Commander even though I had the right version and patch etc. I then heard about Commander not working so swapped to DayZ Launcher and i'm still having the same issue. No servers show up at all when I launch through Steam. I tried reinstalling, verifying etc and nothing has worked. Any ideas??

A good idea I think if it was tweaked a bit. For example, I would love the screams in the night kind of sound event to add that bit of extra depth into the world development but you do need to be careful with these kind of things as they can quite easily break the immersion when you know they are just fake sound events. Perhaps some sound events that are more environmental like animals crying in the night (fox, owls, crickets)

Depends on the situation, if the zombie is giving away your position then an axe will do nicely to send them on their way. However, if you have no need to take them down I usually just evade them, no point taking unnecessary risks.

Could just be poor timing on your part. He may have been looting and seen you coming as the construction site is quite a good vantage point. I once ran into a guy on a server with only him and myself on it. Unfortunately he scared the shit out of me and I panic shot him, same could have happened to you
