To save my own ass and for the loot. But I never kill fresh spawns, theres just no reason to do so. Sometimes we take one of them to get some blood bags or shit... It's not hard in this game to find an axe, sprint into a house, and kill someone who is geared while they are looting. No point in taking the risk. And as for now there is no humanity system or bandit/survivor/hero skins. How can I know if that bambi in Kamyshovo did not killed people in his previous life? I assume everyone is bandits then. We were hunting bandits in the outskirts of electro when suddenly we see this newspawn run towards us at full speed shouting unintelligible things in proximity. I've seen several videos of one-hit-knockouts from only fists. And a fresh spawn has literally nothing to lose. So say you're geared, walking along the shore and BAM, you're out like a light.
