An Issue with the New Spawns AKA "The Kamyshovo Massacre"

I tried a defrib on someone once who was conscious and ostensibly healthy and it appeared to have no effect.

We will try to use it on an unconscious person some time and maybe a dead person if they can be convinced not to click respawn.

So, move to outside Elektro and away from Kamyshovo problem solved. You guys get more RP interaction and the new spawns get a chance to play a bit before being killed again. Plus you would even get to experiment on some of those escaped survivors that have been alluding you for some time.

We can also confirm no effect for morphine pen on a normally healthy person, though we haven't tried to stick in 10 of them since we usually don't pick them up. But it can go on the list :)

Thus was the first day of the new spawn point regime, and we made do with the info we had. We plan eventually to scout more areas for potential bases of operation. We like places with wells.

I couldn't get the defib to work at all; conscious, unconscious, wounded, healthy, dead. It didn't matter.

 

And nice to hear you guys will be moving on. Look forward to running into yall :)

There are plenty of towns along the east coast.  There's even NEAF to the north.  But...you're saying the new spawn system is making things inconvenient for you?  Well, that's pretty much DayZ's mantra.

As has been said why not RP in a city - act out your exterminator sessions in Cherno. 

 

It might be fun for you guys to "RP" against new spawns but surely this gets boring?

 

Cordon off a section of Cherno and experiment on anyone who enters your zone.

I quite like the idea of the spawns being more east now that a lot of the military gear is found west, although I have not spawned since the change, I do believe it will stop people from getting geared so quickly which iMo makes you value your loot more when it is harder to acquire.

 

Also in response to the guys killing new spawns by feeding them disinfectant and conducting what they call medical experiments, I don't support such behaviour but it is funny to see and at least they are being creative about it.

A couple members of our group were punched today by people before they were exterminated, and yesterday I was hit with a pipe wrench, causing my trousers to become grimy looking and requiring me to make a supply run to replace them with a pristine pair.

There was also a tragic accident once before we had uniforms sorted out where one of our junior members had his teamspeak mic muted by mistake, and was unable to identify himself and shot in the face as a potential threat.

The worst catastrophe was days ago, when we approached a proned out person in the grass to tell him we were friendly and had supplies for him, he and a second villain opened fire and killed three members.

Someone explain the new spawn mechanic please? What changed? Details? Number of spawnpoints?

We don't have clan tags, but all the members of our group are senior staff on a big arma2 life server, and as such we are part of a clan/community, but it doesn't carry over into dayz.

On dayz we verbally identify ourselves to people as the DayZ Hero Society -town name- Medical Division.

We track the number of exterminations but not our own deaths. I think it's 9 or 10 for the group so far. I just tossed that in as an aside since we didn't lose anyone today.

Now lets put this to bed.

 

You have just linked me lots of posts about people asking about the new spawn system. I am not asking about the new spawn system i am posing a few issues with the new system. These questions have NOT been asked in any of those threads you just linked so yet again this thread is unique and what you have linked me is a load of old rubbish. When did i say the new spawns were inconvenient to me, lets not start lying shall we. All the towns along the east coast are empty, all of them. And they are all empty because 30 people have been through them before you. Again your not actually reading the OP are you, you dont actually have a clue what this thread is about do you?

You should try using large amounts of morphine on someone. The description says that it can cause...addiction? I would like to know if that's really true. Also, will the comsumption of painkillers and antibiotics cause ill effects on healthy people? How long it takes for a person to bleed to death if he's only hit once with a fireaxe and not bandaged? How many m4/mosin bodyshots do you need to kill a healthy person? You have to do your medical experimentation thoroughly or you are just a bunch of quacks :P

Think i got something like 200+ kills to 0 deaths. They where zombies so a little more challenging :P

 

I don't like what you do, but the games lets you, so no problem there. what i do see is a lack of imagination and skill. 

 

as you play more you may get better and try something a bit more interesting, but this is the level you play at for now. you have your fun:P
