    How about no private servers?

This. In the mod I never found a private hive/server that had trustworthy admins. The admins were always cliquish, biased, power hungry douche bags. Sorry correction. There was one server were they weren't. Forgot about that one. But by the time I found it, I had RL stuff happening and never got to play it often. I also got tired of all the modding of DayZ that was going on. Between the two it ruined the game for me. Leave the game the way its made. We don't need the DayZ SA to be modded. If you want to mod something you got Arma 2 and a ton of other games that allow it. By modding the SA you lose the core of DayZ. If you want to make your own game so bad go to school, learn programming, and do so.

    Discourage career bandits

I'm starting to think all these "Punish bandits" threads are made by alt accounts of just the same handful of guys that keep getting shut down in other threads. They are all so similar. Seems like nothing but trolling now.

    KOS Hysteria

No, its been argued already. Just drop it. Do a search for ht e multitude of post concerning the subject if you want to debate it. Same goes for you. Just no.

Accuracy comparison: DayZ vs ARMA 2

Civilian has nothing to do with it and is an illogical excuse. What happens when someone leaves the military? They become a civilian. Civilians hunt for food and sport. Getting a sight picture with any rifle is pretty basic since they all work off the same principle: match front sight picture with back sight configuration. The back story for our characters has never been established. Until a dev comes out and states, "Your characters are untrained office workers that lived in suburbia and do not know how to use a rifle.", the civilian excuse won't work. If they do state such a thing then we shouldn't know how to replace an engine in a car, fly helicopters, or use most medical gear/medicine adequately without harming ourselves. The dispersion is crap and needs to be adjusted sometime, but its not a priority for now which is fine. Its a known issue. Gews is just giving us concrete evidence proving it. Thanks Gews.

Lets make it a little easier for the Devs

Every single thing listed in this poll is already known and acknowledged by the devs. This poll servers no purpose at all. The devs have their own priority system and NOTHING we do will change that. OP seems to be doing nothing but trolling and trying to stir drama.

when will there be more weapons in dayz SA

And guess what, there is nothing wrong with that situation. It is one of the great things about Dayz. Cause no matter how many snipers there are in game, each one can be snuck up on and taken out. Or they can be avoided by being careful and observant. The tension such a situation would create would be great. It would never happen though. Someone would make a mistake eventually and then all hell would break loose. Patience is the key. But besides that. OP needs to, oh I don't know, read the freaking announcements or maybe browse the fucking general forums for 5 minutes and he would have had his answer.

PvE Server - Killed by a Human

Wrong again. There are official test servers. They are the experimental servers. You can opt in for those if you wish. But please disregard those admins breaking the agreement they signed with Bohemia when they decided to rent a server for Dayz. I'm sure those admins wouldn't keep breaking the agreement and rules set forth by Bohemia when testing is done and the game goes live.

    psychological effects of banditry

No, I didn't commit any war crimes, but thanks for implying I did. Real class there. People in this game are a threat no matter if they are armed or not. Doesn't matter if they say friendly or sing my little pony songs while crawling on there bellies towards me. Everyone is a threat. I've had an unarmed guy that I was bandaging attack me. He died. Another I was dropping food on the ground for ran at me with an axe drawn from 20m away. He died too. In both instances, I told them I wanted to help them and put my M4 away before approaching them. These are just two instances out of many that happened to me in the first couple days of the SA while I was trying to help new players. It reinforced something I had forgotten from the mod, "Trust no one unless they are on comms with me. Everyone can be a threat in one form or another." I am bringing this up in a discussion about psychological punishment for players killing other players due to the fact that defending oneself and one's group comes paramount to the survival of others. Since they are a threat, by your own logic, I shouldn't feel any remorse because they are attacking me either directly or indirectly through taking limited resources. Hence there would be no psychological repercussions. I wasn't angry at those players I was trying to help for trying to kill me. Hell I usually laughed about it. I probably would have done a similar thing in their situation. I'm basically a walking loot pinata and have been since my second day playing. The resources I carry on my person is enough to outfit two people pretty decently. In an apocalyptic scenario, people will do everything they can to survive and it will be justified to them. Some people just have a more complex system of determining a threat when looking at a situation than what is shown on the surface.

You sir don't have a clue how SA is working with servers right now do you?

PvE Server - Killed by a Human

Ok sorry, my other post was a bit harsh considering you're new. There are tons of useful post in the new players section detailing differing ways to survive and some tips for newbies. Probably the biggest tip I can give to help you would be to be a ninja  See all but remain unseen. Trust no one. And have fun exploring the map. Get away from the coast and you'll run into less people thus allowing you to become familiar with game mechanics and get a general feel for how the game is played.

    psychological effects of banditry

Its meant to be a simulation of an apocalyptic scenario. There is no government to punish people. NO government. Got that. You want to go around punishing people for KoSing others then form a group and do so. No arbitrary system is needed when we have the means to do so ourselves. I'm a vet. I've killed people. So have many other veterans around the world. Not everyone reacts negatively from having done so. Most vets don't in my experience. "But we're civilians in game!" Guess what happens to people when they leave the military? They become civilians. There is nothing in game that says we are civilians that know absolutely nothing except how to sit on our asses at a desk job and sip coffee while going home to a 2.5 person family and a pet in a suburban neighborhood. Just cause you choose that as the basis for your character back story doesn't mean I do. And that is reality right there. Edit to include Isaaq quote:

BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!! Oh man this made my morning. You, sir, are playing the wrong game.

    System to Punish KoS

Unarmed players are still dangerous. Even more so as they have absolutely nothing to lose usually by attacking you. Now, if someone repeatedly kills people within 1 minute of the victim having spawned then sure stick the "Spawn Killer" skin on them. :)

    psychological effects of banditry

And still no is the answer. It all boils down to punishing people for having a certain play style no matter how many words you change or how "realistic" you think it is (which in itself is highly arguable). So just stop already ok.
