Okay so far I've died the most by zombies. 

Them glitching through walls and under floors making it impossible for me to hit with an axe.

Then second is when I press 1 to take out my axe and it puts it straight back over my shoulder and boom...zombie claws my face off.

Third is idiots who shoot to kill...I mean now it is idiotic to shoot to kill considering it fucks up the stuff you want. 

I shoot people who have their weapons raised aiming around looking for people but when their weapons are over their shoulders I do my best to tell them knees on the floor and hands on their heads. If they unsling their weapons then they die.

I'm honestly terrified of what the Zombies are going to look like with greater numbers and proper AI.  Zombies have killed me (or lead to me being in a weak enough state to pass out and die) than any other reason.

Ladders. If the servers lagging...using the "Climb Ladder Down" option in the context menu pitches you right off the roof. Its kinda hilarious...other than the whole death by gravity thing.

Once by falling unconscious into a wall, while drinking soda off a bedside table (got my stuff back because of a glitch though :D)

That is... All my deaths so far.

I can happily say the murders are the most annoying though.

I've killed 3 people, all of which attacked me first.

I know its Pre-Alpha but damn the first time it was available they didn't even sort out the "I understand" button.

After all this time you'd think they'd have a slightly less buggy or upgraded version. And its said that it wont be in Beta for another year...They've been at this standalone was announced god knows how long ago and was being developed since.

they've sold almost 500,000 copies already if not more that's $9,995,000...You'd think they'd put allot of them if not most of it into development and get it out sooner. Employ more people and what not. I mean at the moment the DayZ mod is FAR better but I payed for this to support the development.

They haven't got that money yet, I can guarantee that. So I wouldn't translate direct sales numbers to immediate capability. Its just not how distribution and publishing deals work.

1. First time in the game, killed by an axeman while talking to another person

2. Shot in the back while scavenging for fresh saline bags to replenish my stocks

3. Mowed down by an M4 in the first house I entered after respawning

4. Sniped at the water pump in the first town one minute after spawning

Not counting intended and random character resets that happened in between.

At least I just ran into a bleeding guy today who seemed lost, utterly confused an quite scared at my sight. I'm glad he didn't shoot and let me bandage him instead. Still, the 'friendly' vs. 'shot me on sight for no reason' ratio is still in favor of the former.

Fifth time had low blood and saw only black and white, being ambushed by a guy with a Shotgun north of NWAF in the middle of nowhere...

That's it so far. Had at least 2 friendly encounters with guys who had a M4...

Well...uh...so far it's been once to a random character wipe and then to falling through a wall that I shouldn't have fallen through...because it was supposed to be a solid wall.  So, both deaths to bugs.

I've died I think 3 times from players, although one of those times I hit exit and came back later to find my "death" had no effect, that was earlier on. Fell and broke my leg due to a glitch which caused a zombie to kill me. Fell to my death due to glitches 3 other times. And like 4 or 5 times I lost my character to wipes.

 

I've never encountered a server hopper or a hacker.
