Mission Bobble hat

I decided I would see what happens if I ran around with no axe on my back, no gun showing and not in green cammo.  Then I was side tracked!

 

This was no longer a test of appearance and player reaction only, as I noticed my bobble hat was 'Ruined' ( feels).

So off I went in search of a new hat, still alive and 45 mins later (and not being sneaky as i wanna come across people), i see one! But No! the server resets before I can pick it up.

 

 

Still searching for my hat but have come across 3 people who didn't try to kill me on site, even helped one of them, the rest left me alone when I put my hands up. I don't think any of them had ammo, the mission continues, will let you know what happens :P

Still not found my hat, but met another person that did not try to kill me :) So I help them by dragging away all the zombies so she could loot in peace, after witch I when for a sit in cherno. Strange beauty and so peaceful. I guess the bandit left after all the other players felt too unsafe to loot there, or maybe I was lucky (sat for a good 15 mins)

Still alive and found my hat, now I am invincible!

 

while in cherno, still looking  none threatening and exposing my self to damage more than I should, I heard gunfire! At first, I was not sure it was aimed at me as, I was in a building. So I ran out and it seams I was the target. I kept running around, avoiding shots and looking for the bandit, but I'm pretty sure when they had wasted all their ammo, they logged off in terror (Must be the hat)

I shall watch for you epic hat man! I oneday hope to see that glorious red hat on the horizon and then slowly run towards it! and probably be attacked by a shrieking zombie rabbit.

Another run in cherno and another failed bandit snipe, who logged out when they realised i was not going anywhere. Was hoping i could knock them unconscious with my fists, handcuff them and take their gun (pity you can't deactivate guns, cus then i would give it back :P)

 

Have a feeling these are people that are afraid of the airfield and once they get a gun and ammo (normally fire station), they wann use it on anyone they see. Just wish they didn't log lol

It ends ! not with a whimper but with a bang!

 

Held up by 3 people that seem too paranoid to kill me, as they found me just sitting in the road (like i was bandit bait). So i use the time to look at their M4s and notice that two of the people had no ammo, the 3rd one was keeping their distance (he was the smart one). Then one force fed me fruit, so i though i gotta try and kill them. I handcuff one and turned around to shoot the smart one, yes he had ammo and the bobble hat got a bullet. If only i could have handcuffed the man with the ammo, could have killed them all :P

 

 

 

 

Didn't respawn or log after death gave them time to loot :)

2) Another Bobble hat adventure

 

So I had more loot than I needed and decided it was time to die... not in balota, just not interesting.

 

 

So i whent to electro and gave all my stuff to the first person that was friendly, then sat in the town for a while.

 

 

I saw people come and go, no one attacked me as I sat, and one person even gave me water (Think I saw 7 people in total that didn't KOS). Then 2 people come running into town and one gets out a crowbar, and starts hitting me as i sit :P So i get out my baseball bat hidden in my back pack and give them what for.To my suprize, a hero jumps into defend me, taking out the attackers friend and the crowbar man ran off bleeding. I healed my self up and went back to sit in my spot, but right away, the crowbar man was back!

 

I ran after the man, into a building, hitting him with my fist only (always wanted to test them) until if fell unconscious from being hit or blood loss, im not sure, and die about 30 seconds later. Still, this was a fun way to go out :P

3) Bambi tests (minimal skill)

 

For these spawns I simulated the skills of a new player

 

 

first run

Attacking 3 zombies with bat in epic fashion (in electro) and sniped... EZMode player gets a frag.

second

rip up my shirt to bandage a bambi and fended off the zombies with me fists. zombies got me!

3rd

some Ezmodes shot me as I put my hands up - respawned close to them, they had already logged out of server

4th

after a long walk met 2 bambis, we all said hi, then they beat me up and left me to die

5th

met friendly, he got shot down, and the killer played with me... after a while, they tried to shoot me but missed 4 times, so I got my fist out and made them bleed before I died :P

6th

electro, getting shot at but they miss, so I ran to the fire station and see 3 people. I let them handcuff me, and after that they kill me (that's not even ezmode)

 

Quite a mixed bag of interaction but fun

4) Bobble hat no backpack

 

Though I would try a run with no backpack and no mosin or M4 as normal. Also though it would be important to still be a medic and look friendly if i could, oh and find a bobble hat.

 

 

I was ready to start my new life , hearty armed with a wrench and a rotten fruit. I felt sorry for any bandit that tried to kill me. While looking for loot I came across so many backpack, for a second I thought 'maybe I just take one till I have a pistol and better clothes', but that would have been cheating. So I let them R.I.P

 

 

After a run throw electro and cherno i was feeling pretty happy. I had some good clothes, lots of yellow boxes (medical supplies in yellow box) and the all powerful bobble hat. But there was still a problem, I don't like having an axe or any weapon showing on my back, so I needed to find a pistol, and this took longer than a thought...

 

 

I finally found a pistol and ditch my axe. I didn't want to have to shoot every zombie so i looked for a weapon that would fit in my clothes. I don't think the knife has any affect as after slashing 20 times, the zombie didn't die, fist would have be a better option.

 

 

 

Now at day 2 and a bit, I am fully kitted with nothing to do. Maybe its time to take silly risks and help bambis with the few supplies I carry.

The end of bobble hat no backpack

 

As it was Friday, I teamed up with friends, but told them I am sticking to my no backpack rule. So we when looting, one with a M4, one with and axe and me with a pistol. All was going well until we entered the office building of Electro. One of my friend fell  to a sneaky bandit, and they got a shot on me as well, I ran! Then got my pistol ready to revenge! But OMG, Click, Click, Click, it didn't work, the clips where ruined (as I learnt later) but did I run? no, I got my fists out!

 

 

After beating the guy unconscious, I took his m4 and shot him with his own gun :). then gave the M4 to a friend.

 

 

sadly the end of this story is not as exciting, server reset, we logged into a new one, and I got shot in a door  way... oh well

Back from a great game of base ball, land at the air filed, surprised my family aren't there to meat me, so i make my way to home town and tellm them to meet me via text

 

After waiting for a while I decide to go home and wait, but i find a man in my home! when i ask him to leave, he lunges at me, to i give him some bat!

 

 

Now thetr is a dead man in my room, and i don't know what is happening.. its time to run!

Woke up and grabbed a drink to freshen my breath and headed to the old Mill works... maybe my father was still there.

Things at my father work place seem even more messed up, so I hid in his office and coved my ears.. just hoping things would get better... After a while I knew I needed to get out.

Knowing things had gone bad, I worked my way through the town, looking for a friend or escape from this madness and then...

Someone kill the story. Sniper! (sorry no more story) taken out while fighting zombies. they pick me as a target and not the zombies >< spoils the fun :(

 

added:

maybe they killed my for my extensive items, or my over powering kit threat. Of that they are playing dayz as fragg match :( and saw an easy kill

 

and only stop to attack the zombie for a piccy for the story, then sniped :(

 

Added, added: cant help but feel that people that hide out a snipe anyone that happens along their sigh is missing a lot of dayz fun. but we all play at different levels. in time they may play :)

Mission Umbrella

 

Sure its not an real umbrella, but kinda looks like one (if only it would hang from belt). So wanted to try out a well dressed, no backpack, no vest civilian look. Using only the stunt baton.

 

 

Surviving and managing to find water/food was turning out to be easy, didn't miss my backpack. just had to play it safe and only use my baton to escape zombies. Sadly this got a little boring, so it was time to look for better clothes...

 

 

Not having any weapons (not even and axe) to kill zombies, I found my self running around in circles to much, so I needed to trap the zombies... But with some style :P

 

 

Sadly I got to cocky and made a mistake! my leg got broken and I hand no way to fix it. I manage to crawl away from  the zombie that crippled me, but soon after I was killed by other zombies as I crawled across the town :(

 

 

Well, i will know for next time
