mosin ammo

i have 7.62 and 5.56 ammo and neither fits mosin. i was told its 7.62 thats for mosin but even that doesnt fit. wat do ?

If its in an ammo box: right click and chose empty

 

Once you have the 762 rounds in your inventory you can either drag and drop them onto the mosin and chose load or right click the ammo and chose load.

I find maybe 5 gun but never ammo for this :(

I find plenty of ammo boxes in garages and fire stations - no 7.62 clips though

I think the only ones I've found were like a pile of just 3 bullets in balota control tower

You usually won't find too much Mosin ammo around military bases, mostly just m4 and .45. 7.62s can be found there occasionally, but the best place to find them is usually residential and fire stations

I find a tons of 7.62 ammo in cars and at the School/Office.

Mosin ammo is also very common in civilian buildings.
Just find some untouched village up north and keep an eye open for the small brown ammo boxes.
