Scripting already rampant...

Everyone realizes that on the mod the ones making the scripts for the script kiddies and selling them were also the ones making the good anti-hacks requiring monthly (the servers) and sometimes weekly subscriptions (the script kiddies)?  This is done to maximize profits.

You are not a developer TLW. If you were you'd know how long software dev takes. Do the world a favor and don't state your opinions and guesses as if they were facts. Thats one of the big differences between the mature and immature. The smartest people tend to say i don't know a lot. If that doesn't make sense to you im guessing your a young wipper snapper.

I am a software developer. I know exactly how long it takes to develop software, and it doesn't take this long, especially when you're not rolling your own engine. 

 

Do explain how the developers at Rust were able to develop in this time span a more complete game with a smaller team and less resources, based on the Unity3D engine. (I'll give you a hint, a more competent dev team)

You must have lacked the reading comprehension to notice that I did say, "in my not so humble opinion".

And yes, my privilege is checked. As soon as rocket started accepting money for the game he became accountable to the community for it.

You posted a video advertising hacks including a download link for them, you were also sent a PM explaining why it was hidden. Use some common sense when posting please. Cheats are not going to be advertised on this forum.

The whole reason why Rocket originally wanted to create SA was to stop these cheaters......

The price of losing a skilled character coupled with greater monetary loss when cought would deter people from using cheats completely. Would you risk losing an account that you spent months leveling up? No? Then theres your answer

Lol are you joking? A skill tree would only make hacks more effective because hackers would give themselves skills and wouldn't have to spend time leveling up, whereas legit players would. It would be even more imbalanced. Think before you try to back up some flimsy argument with the topic at hand.

 

 

Furthermore. Enough with these stupid threads. "rocket is a fag"? Really? Because hackers attack literally every game in existence. Just because it's alpha and anti-cheat hasn't been enabled yet doesn't mean it's going to stay that way forever. Stop being so melodramatic you fucking whiners.

Are you serious?  There would then be scripts to max level your survivor.  And I don't think these script kiddies care much about their characters in game... especially when they probably have the means to get any gear they want at any time and possibly can make it impossible for them to die from anyone or anything.

Also, @Ganja, this is where time invested to level a good character plus a price of say over 80$ for each new copy would be more than a sufficient deterrent from most hacking efforts. The benefit of doing ''a crime'' would be trumped by the severeness of the punishment to such degree that most hackers wouldn't even bother.
