When do you think we'll get the update? we all have been waiting for a while and I couldn't get to the party a few days ago.

Any chance that we get some more variety in weapons and skins?

And more zombies in cities?

Also (the most important) any chance to address DC from the danger problem?

No.

Arrowhead and ArmaX owners could have the same playerID before. Because DayZ uses playerID to identify you that would lead to them sharing same character. This was fixed in recent beta patch by adding letters to all ArmaX users playerIDs. DayZ doesn't know how to handle letters (because int means integer which obviously has only numbers and not letters). Changing that int to string type will allow it to handle the letters in ArmaX users playerIDs and let them play again.

The only real remaining issue is dealing with the changes to PlayerID (int to string). Then the update will receive a closed test (I hope today). Then depending on the result of that, either a limited release, or a full release.

I am sure after pressing Esc you can still press Alt+F4. Last one is what DCers using

Imagine the extra things we'll be able to carry when we don't have to have a minimum of 5 morphines in our backpacks :)

The ammo tracking is a change that I'm really looking forward to.

Anything that adds to be being aware that my supplies are limited!

any chance, in some distant future perhaps, zombies spawn wont be dependent on players around like mobs in mmorpgs?

You mean zombies not being a beacon saying "Hey, there's a player in this town"

Would be nice, but I'd love to have the higher zombie counts back if possible. I miss seeing 1200 zombies on the counter :(

yeah. it will also mean that they wont despawn on dc/rc, wont depend on quantity of players(at least thats the main idea) on server. imagine 1 player and 1200 zombies on server.

Please please....please! Add in more skins other than ghillie and camo. Also I want you to really think hard about the wire fences and bear traps. The state of most major towns is nothing but crazy fence jobs around every door. I hope this doesnt become the "new thing" to put every place with no regard.

Awesome work btw. I was shocked to see this being tested so early. Hope that means we are going to get it later today. Thanks for the awesome mod
