current version of battleeye is 1.160 1.61 is the version of the game? My first question would be: Did you installed the latest beta patch for Arma? My adwise to you: If you cant join a server then download the "six updater" and install it. Then start the "six launcher.exe" and click on update. (So you get the latest update on dayz mod and the latest beta patch for arma 2) you can also download and install the beta patch manually http://www.arma2.com/beta-patch.php/ i dont think its a battle eye issue because you are talking about version 1.61 which is the version that arma 2 got. in my case thats the folder: "D:\Games\Steam\SteamApps\common\arma 2 operation arrowhead\Expansion\beta" delete the beta folder and install the beta patch

"wrong cd key" has no effect on your installation of your beta. i had the same error message i just skipped it and i could continue with the installation. did you delete the beta folder before you reinstalled it?

how did you install the mod? if manually try install/update via six launcher. mostly this errors appear in my case if i got wrong startup paramaters too launch the beta version of arma 2.

same to me sometimes i got the stuck at loading screen issue sometimes it works fine. server issue in my eyes.

i had the same problem. so i quit arma and reinstalled battle eye (via steam right click on Arma 2: OA and click on "reinstall battle eye). Without steam it should also be pretty easy do reinstall battleeye manually (or update manually) looky: http://www.battleye.com/

I got a AMD Phenom x4 9750 2,4 GHz (Quadcore), NVIDIA GeForce 470 GTX, 8 GB DDR3 RAM Well i knew that it is time now to change from AMD to Intel and i bought the i5 2500k (i think that was a really good choice). Bought it on friday and i hope i will get it soon. I got the same problems as you do. Like 10-17 fps in town. Thats mostly different, if the server restarts and i joined right after it, it will work for a short time smoothly but not too long. So you could run fraps to see your fps. The game doesnt need a monster gpu so im pretty sure its your cpu.

This problem is propably caused by your cpu. It's actually too bad for Arma 2 which needs a lot of cpu power and less of gpu power. I made a thread like you did, i nearly got the same startup parameters and fps issues. Out of town i got around 22-35 fps in town 17-22 fps. Specs: AMD Phenom X4 9750 2,4 GHz Quadcore NVIDIA GeForce 470 GTX 8 GB DDR2 RAM Bought a few days ago a nearly new system: Intel i5 2500k 3,3 GHz NVIDIA GeForce 470 GTX 8 GB DDR3 RAM hope this will change a lot :)
