A little Before/After: Into the Wild: Svetlo: Maybe a bit too much, but I'd love to have a more colorful game. odin_lowe 3686 Posted July 22, 2014 (edited) Didn't play much recently, and had some time to play so I caught up a bit this week-end. Went to experimental and had some fun. Night time fishing. Food was pretty scarce since servers were not restarting very often, so when I saw this deer, I couldn't let this chance to have more food slip by. Armed with only a kitchen knife and a lot of patience, I finally slayed the beast. Sadly, you still can't craft an improvised leather backpack with the deer skin. Only boar works. I made camp and cooked the meat while catching my breath from all this running around trying to hit the deer. Even though I didn't have an axe, I was lucky enough to find a pile of 5 logs in a thin shed near where the deer was. There was also a burlap sac, and since I already had a rope, I made an improvised backpack. Comforting light. I still appreciate the gas lamp. Am I supposed to use a knife or something?I'm not sure everything you CAN use for the skinning of the animal, but I know you can use a Machete and a Kitchen Knife, but yes you do need to skin the animal, and then cook its meat or risk getting sick by eating it raw, Ive been getting around 6 steaks for a boar, idk about anything else, haven't killed anything else. 1 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

And this was my hardcore character on stable which has survived some crazy shit for a long time lol.
