Yesterday I spawned in Stary Sobor after dying.

Is this a bug or do you spawn inland as well in SA and not just at the coast?

Can't find the thread now, but it's been mentioned before.

 

It's actually Novy Sobor and has to do with the way the spawning works and how it's setup. It's pretty much the center of the map.

 

Good to know that Novy spawn still exists. :)

I spawned somewhere inland I didn't recognize, it was dark as, so I couldn't tell, but it was definitely inland.

We had this in the pre-alpha testing at times and I got it last night as well.  Novy to Stary to the new Mil camp and I was fully geared.

 

It's a bug.

my current character is a novy spawn. hit up the airfield for gear and then went south to meet my mate. we're heading north soon. we recently had trouble getting water, which delayed our movements and caused a detour.
