I wasn't one of 'those' people just crying about the games unfinished state, but gave a valid reason as to why it was a mistake to release the game in its current state. Instead of allowing a discussion, the server mods took it upon themselves to delete the thread as probably the criticism of their precious fandom was too true. This game is Alpha. We understand. We see it ad nasuem. Rocket has been screaming it on every video and post for the past fucking year. HOWEVER, a lot of people are unhappy and feel this was released way too early in its alpha phase. You can't sell people a zombie game that has no zombies. Perhaps you should add a disclaimer to the forum saying "Only loyal fanboys allowed, no dissatisfied fans ('haters') or noob cod players". You know zombie pathing issues, loot spawn issues, inventory stuff etc... But eating and drinking not working properly with the most atrocious form of a text HUD ive ever seen in a game? Ive said it before but I would have taken no network bubble over those issues being resolved first any day. Considering the game doesnt feel any more or less smooth than the mod does with this bubble we now have. Anyway going to just continue to report what I find hopefully the patches to the game are regular (daily or at least weekly) and these issues get resolved fast! If this was back in June/July and wasnt $30ca I would be less upset. But we waited an extra 6 months for what?? I also agree that it was a pretty garbage move of them to remove your topic. Cause you dont fully know what to expect until you try it yourself Especially if youve been following this shit for the last year and have heard over and over "We arent releasing the Alpha because we want to be happy with its state before we do so" Really devs? Eating and drinking does work, the messaging was poorly tuned so they showed up right away though, you could still tell how far down the "scale" you were by paying attention to the frequency and severity of the messaging. Perfect? Absolutely not. Workable? Absolutely yes. To the other post, why would they offer refunds? There were disclaimers everywhere. At your own risk type shit. You didn't have to jump in on day 1 if you weren't expecting it to be at LEAST this bad. Research before you buy, watch some streams, read the warnings. However, it's much more constructive to focus on the negatives and that overall I feel like £20 for this product was far too steep. They needed to sort out the basics which they surely knew were a problem as they can be found if you just played it offline single player. But as you make people wait longer expectations go up. And i think there are a few blatent issues that you didnt need a "Public Paid Opinion" to resolve. I didnt realize they needed to charge people to help with looming blatent issues to a release. I assumed it was for more detailed issues that are found within hours of playtime not minutes.
