if  "Processor type: Integrated" means integrated GPU then, no. You may be able to run it on lowest settings. DayZ uses a butt ton of Vid memory so shared system mem may not be enough. Then on the other hand I have never seen an attempt to run DayZ on integrated graphics sooo.... I may be totally wrong. You should save your money and get a GPU if you dont have one. Of course with a decent GPU, you'll want save some money and upgrade that aged mobo too.

So everything is good just need to change from integrated to dedicated right?

I think of buying a used gaming pc, for really cheap. Can i run dayz on this?

Win 7

Desktop

Graphx: twin frozr 560 gtx

-Processor: PHENOM II X4 840 4x3ghz

-Ram : 4Gb

And will it take high settings or only medium?

Depending on the run resolution. 1080p will be a challenge.

hmmmmm methinks medium settings (well a mixture of very low and high) say object detail low, shadows off, aa off, texture high or very high, pp off af off. terrain low, sky off.

Hey everyone, I am pretty sure my computer will not be able to run this game, but maybe I am wrong as I am not the most technological person or I could receive some suggestions.

Desktop or laptop?: Laptop
Monitor resolution: 1600x900
CPU: Intel® Core i5-4210U CPU @ 1.7GHz  2.4 GHz
Graphics card: Intel® HD Graphics Family Driver? (Its a new computer so I do not know if there is any specific name for it)
RAM:* 8 GB
SSD? (Yes/No) Yes

Let me know if it I need to be more specific with anything. Like I said, I doubt it my computer will run it, but I thought I would check and see. Thanks!

will run, but on the lowest of settings and resolutions

Hi,

I'm very sorry for making my own topic regarding this matter, however the Steam sale ends today and I'm not quite sure if I'll get the answer in time...

I know that the minimum requirements consist of the intel hd 4000...

I was just wondering if anyone that is reading this has similar specs and can tell me what's the avg FPS of your gameplay? Also, I don't give half a shit about graphics...

SPECS -

GFX - Intel HD 4400

CPU - 4210 U 1.7 Ghz Turbo Boost 2.7 Ghz

RAM - 6gb

Also, how would it fair in Cherno/Electro?

Thank you, please no trolls!

Again, I am sorry!

Perhaps with everything on low. Dayz is not very well omptimized yet, so even high-end computers have problems getting it to run smoothly. With a low-end notebook like yours you will really have to struggle to get a well-flowing gameplay, and it will look like absolute shit.

You could get a much better desktop computer for the same price that would manage the game decently. Not particularly good for college work though.

Thank you for responding.  I understand where you are coming from since it is still new.  I'm just looking for a good laptop for college, and DayZ would be an absolute bonus.  I will look to find either another computer or a way around this issue.  Thank you again!

Hello,

Some of my friends got Day Z and I want to play with them.  I did the test to see if my computer could run it and it said it couldn't.  The two spots that it's lacking are seen here: http://gyazo.com/9c1...416c2ee263a7162

I'm not quite sure what this means.  Does it mean I literally can't start the game?  Or is it like Minecraft where it will just be a little laggy and you can lower the settings to accommodate.  Basically I want to know if my computer would be able to run the game on low settings.

Thanks

I am not a big computer wiz. But based on previous experiences that will not run. Your best bet is to upgrade your CPU before your GPU the game relies on more your CPU power than your GPU. IF you need any suggestions are an indepth build pm me. I can give you a previous build of mine that worked rather well at a cheap price.

Back again, just shopping around.  This laptop is even more affordable and has some pretty good processing in it.

Acer Aspire V5-552P-X617

Specs:

2.5GHz AMD Quad-Core A10-5757M Accelerated Processor , 6GB DDR3, 750GB HDD, AMD Radeon HD 8650G Graphics

I did a test on it, and it said that everything was optimal except the GPU was at 99% the recommended rate, which is still fantastic.  And, it's only around $575!  Let me know what you guys think, I will go buy it today if it means I can play DayZ soon!

I got a new computer and I want to know if I would be able to play this game. I have a quad core processor with AMD Radeon R3 Graphics and 8GB of RAM.

I used to play Arma 2 CO and the Dayz mod with a quad core processor and only 4GB RAM, 512MB graphics card, if that helps.
