Insaniac (DayZ) 235 Posted December 13, 2014 Should be able to run DayZ moderately well, you should look into getting more RAM in the long run and that processor might need upgrading in the near future.
JohnMcClane 19 Posted December 13, 2014 That machine will run DayZ very acceptably.

Fluxy86 0 Posted December 14, 2014 I posted other day. Im currently seen thisPC now and I need you expert advice on it before buying. Main Games will be Dayz/Arma and BF4. smochi 2 Posted December 14, 2014 I would swap the i7 4790k for a i5 4670k and use the 100$ on a better graphic card. I suggest you get the Radeon r9 290 or gtx 970 if you are ready to spend abit more. You won't see any benefit from hyperthreading in dayz so i5 would be sufficient. (Yes/No)NO Will be quite playable as i had the Q9550 before on low but i was running on gtx 570, but this was on dayz mod. Then i upgraded to 2500k 5ghz and my minimal fps sky rocketed in cities to 50-60fps. U hit 20fps in cities. My gf has 960T with radeon 290x and shes not complaining, The X4 750k should be somewhat better then 960t but i would invest into a better graphic card. If you are on a low budget, try 750TI. Will be abit better around 30 fps and you can also overclock the cpu to get free minimum fps boost. Edited December 15, 2014 by smochi

I heard this game can be demanding in its current state. Would this be enough and if so what settings could I get away?
DemonGroover 8836 Posted December 19, 2014 Ah, yeah i think DayZ would run with that. You aren't going to get the best FPS at this stage....if you can get 30-40 in cities you are doing well. An SSD would be nice.
