Hi all,

first of all yes I read the Hardware Specs but I love this game, I saw already hundreds of videos and screenshots......

I'm own a

  -Laptop: DELL Latitude E 6510

  -OS: Windows 7 (64 bit)

  -Memory: 8 GB RAM

  -Hard Disc: SSD 512 GB

  -CPU: Intel Core i7 (8 x 1,73 GHz)

  -Graphic Card: NVIDA NVS 3100M

  -Windows Ratings

    >Processor: 7,1

    >Memory (RAM): 7,3

    >Graphics: 5,0

    >Gaming graphics: 5,9

    >Hard Disc: 7,7

I'll know, the bottleneck is my graphic card but is there a way to play this lovely game? Any way???? Don't mind if the graphic effects are not the best. All I want is playing this game on my DELL Laptop.

Thanks for your help.

cheers

Im getting a new budget PC soon and I was wondering if the specs listed above would be enough for this game? All I want to know is:

- On which graphics setting should I play

- How much FPS will I get?

I'll make sure to add 2x4gb RAM. Thanks in advance.

Merged. Please edit your specs into your post, you had only put them in the title.

It looks like I am getting bad fps, I will check how many and make an edit on this post.

EDIT: Seems like it was just server lag, I seem to be getting about 40+ Frames, maybe it's mouse lag too?

Hi,
I know there has been a lot of similar topics of this type before, but going through above 140 pages is just painful...
I'm about to buy DayZ SA and wondering if it is going to work at all and if so, how many fps can I get with my hardware. So my pc specs are:
CPU: i3-2120 - 3.3 GHz
GPU: ATI Radeon HD7700 1 gb ddr5
RAM: 4 gb 1333 Hz

Thanks for your help ; )

8GB DDR3 SDRAM

NVIDIA GTX 650 graphics

Microsoft Windows 8 64-bit operating system

Do you think I could get by on the Standalone with this?  Thanks!

Thanks, well reason I chose those particular GPU CPU, was because they were better than the recommended sys req. Thus build is purely for dayz sa. So to spend that to achieve a med low setting is pretty crap to be fair. And if you Google Intel hd4000 vs geforce 610m 2gb you will see it for yourself. Trust me I was devastated to discover this. And yes it works, ad I said before I get between 20-30 fps on low and disabled. So what card could I get 150 or lower which will allow me to get good fps on med high settings? Thanks for your help batman, not only cleaning the crime from Gothams streets but an ex AMD employee alsolol

The thing with DayZ, is that it is heavily CPU dependent. GPU obviously makes a difference, but having a good CPU is where it's at when it comes to DayZ. My assistance needs no thanks - especially when it comes to Gotham's streets. But hey, WayneTech is big for a reason - gotta help people build their PC's between cleaning up them streets. Also I'm not an ex AMD employee lol :P

if you upgraded your CPU to 3ghz or higher cosmic you could run it

That is good because the pc has this! 3.1GHz processor speed with Turbo Boost up to 3.3GHz.  How much fps do you think I could get?

I swapped the CPU for FX 6300 and PSU for corsair 550W, Xigmatek loki CPU cooler, and motherboard for gigabyte with 970 chipset.

990 chipset is too expensive but would be, well nicer.

I meant to swap the HDD for WD Caviar blue but they don't have such option though I would stay away from seagate even if it meant getting the HDD elsewhere!

( WD caviar blue 7200RMP 32 Gb cache sata 2 or 3 is what you want, they come in 500Gb and 1 Tb )

Ram... cant you get 4Gb 1886Mhz from overclockers.uk? The 4Gb 1333Mhz will work fine but to get most out of the FX 6300 faster memory would be better.      http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=MY-083-PA&groupid=701&catid=8&subcat=1180

As for GFX - at minimum you should be looking at GTX 650 Ti as anything lower than that will literally be shitty experience.

Here is the edited link -

Sadly it must be clientside as i cant see the changes it still loads mine which is a shame also ive changed the graphic card to a HD 7850 its the best i can get within my budget of £600 but the graphic card is msi im not sure what that is also would the change in harddrive make a big diffence as i will have to get the ram and harddrive at a later date

The change to the cpu is the 6300 much different to the FX8320 as i keep hearing this game is a hog i was wondering if these settings would be enough to play at max if not ill just have to play at med
