Flashlight....

My flashlight will not point directly in front of me, it did at first but now its like cocked to the side and pointed down.. any way to fix this? Also do bats not kill people? I hit a guy about 45 times with a bat and he didn't die.

Press T to lift your weapon before using it.

Some melee weapons have to be raised before they'll properly hit anything.

As said, use the space-bar. However, I bound the "lower (or was it 'raise'?) weapon" to one of my mouse buttons, allowing me to click it once and the flashlight/whatever will stay up.

keep in mind to actually "use" your equipment. so you need to raise your hand to use your flashlight "actively".
