Alright, select one of those devices and click on the Set as Default button. At the moment you have no microphone selected so Arma thinks your system doesn't have any.

There might be a chance you can't select any of them as no mic seems to be connected (Not plugged in). If you have a spare set of ear plugs or something like that, just plug those into the mic jack, that should make them selectable.

I can't select any of them. I plugged a set of headphones in and still don't get the option. Any other suggestions?

What soundcard are you using? And are you sure they're in the right jack?

I'm heading home right now so it might be a while before I reply - another thing you might want to check are the Disabled devices. When you right-click on the list with mics you should get an option to also show Disabled and Disconnected devices, it could be the mic you connected is either of those.

Right this may sound stupid but how do i interact with the menu, using my cursor? currently I have to use my keyboard and I can't change any settings because of it

or sell your game as a black&white game.

What about people that only can´t play when work is done and family into bed?

Lol, a refund. Try joining a server in a different time zone. It's not "eternally night time." It's just a very long cycle and atm that cycle doesn't seem to be synced correctly on US servers.

 

 

 

 

 

On a more relevant note, I am experiencing a genuine server issue. Currently almost every server on my list says it's full, even though literally a few minutes ago this was not the case. Servers that are not full have a very long or indefinite Wait for Host screen. Looks like Steam just took a massive dump when the player levels peaked.

maximum number of players has been reached, with a button that says restart, on servers listed with 0/40 or even some players in it.

 

connecting failed, with the restart button as well.

you click a button that says "i understand" dont you?  it is an Alpha.  things dont work perfectly yet

Could you NOT clone messages, burying other concerns?  They read all the messages, so you don't need to.  Make a bug report, and link it like I did.

Antibiotics appear to not work. I am currently sick and have taken 4 doses of antibiotics and am still sick. Not working? or just me?

I had the same issue with vitamins. They didn't seem to have any effect even after taking 12 of them. Not sure if it is a quality issue though because they were not pristine when I got them, so I guess they could have been a little off.

I had the same issue and also used disinfectant a few times, after 10 minutes i was healthy again, i think it just takes time to work

 

I have been having trouble getting into servers the las half hour the same reason as others keeps saying server full click restart and connection failed hope the team can get it fixed soon here's some  :beans:

Menu option while playing... You might have to use your middle mouse button or spacebar might work.

I'm having a freezing for 30 seconds issue.

 

I start the game get about 20-40 seconds of moving around then freeze for 30 seconds then unfreeze and 20-40 i lockup again, rinse and repeat.

Most, if not all of the issues linked are related to the same issue regarding hardcoded keybindings.  You can NOT unbind fire from the left mouse button no matter what.  If you use left mouse button to move forward, you will ALSO fire your weapon(gun or melee).  You can not assign fire to the right mouse button, as it becomes unresponsive, and still remains on the LMB.  Despite editing the settings in the DayZ Other Profiles folder in my documents, and manually assigning RMB to fire, LMB still fires even though it only shows move forward bound to LMB.  This issue persists through inventory screen etc, where some players have issues with moving around and firing weapon while clicking on things in the inventory.  If you try to write a note, even with default controls, you will move around if you press w a s or d.  I am 98% certain all these issues are tied to the same underlying issue, so I recommend that these reports become merged.

I fell through the floor while exiting one of the large tower blocks near electro.  I had used the ladder to go up and search the flats, but when i used the stairs i got stuck.  Basically i came to the bottom of the stairs which are broken, and tried to hop off of them onto the rubble. Thats how i fell through the floor.  I am now stuck in the "basement" area. I can't get out because there are invisible walls keeping me there.
