In the last PsiSyndicate SA vid, everything looks amazing, those buildings look amazing. But those character models, they don't seem to blend with the rest of the game at all

The textures of them, thats the thing that really stood out to me, it just did not go with the rest of the game imo

As orlok mentioned, please elaborate. I don't think they're not good. If anything they're fairly high-res in comparison to anything you will see in the mod (if you don't have the DLC's)

Just like overall, the skin, clothing, equipment, just looked weird in comparison, probably was more high res, if so, i hope everything else is brought up to speed

I kind of know what you mean, they do look slightly lower res than perhaps some other textures.

ne thing to remember is as other people have pointed out, the videos you've seen of whoever playing the game probably isn't super hi res, I just searched that video you were on about and the youtube fella said he was playing at 80% resolution so the textures are bound to look a bit shit

Rocket plays on low settings and you're looking at it through a crappy stream.  The textures are delicious.

I wasn't. I was genuinely interested in why he's thinking that, as everything I have seen so far regarding character models was better than anything around it, such as ground- and treetextures.

Pretty much the first few seconds, the person in blue in front of the camera man, sticks out like a sore thumb, its not even the color with the back drop, it just looks not fitting with the textures and mood around it. it almost looks too high res for everything else, and makes it have that "trying to hard to look realistic" look

 

then again i might just be batshit insane

No HD Videos...

Impossibel atm.

 

Textures and mesh on the items and the equip looks final. Skin looks like one color, no textures atm. So to answer your question which change next i guess skin textures get added.

Rocket records at a PC which runs SA on custom, low settings. 

I remember someone saying that he puts one config on high and the other on medium but I'm not sure. Maybe that's what you're talking about? :p
